It can get a bit awkward at that stage Michelle they are small enough to still have enough room to move about freely but large enough for it to hurt or be uncomfortable i shouldnt worry movement is good even the painfull ones its when they dont move you have to panic :-)

Thanks xmaslolly76, Im ok, its just annoying more than anything. DH kept asking me if I think bubs will be early (meaning coming today)... I think that was just wishful thinking on his part though :rotfl: (He cant wait.) Have told him to go out with his friends before he gets even more worked up!

Is this your first bexta? of course it is... just seen your signature after posting... d'oh!

Don't worry Michelle, put it down to preggo brain. I'll properly start bricking it when it gets to single figures. OH just glad my mum's coming over so he won't have to try and deal with me on his own!

  • Don't blame you all for skipping through, lol - it's all fine though and we are all here doing it yet again so it can't have been that bad - in fact we were all saying it is EXTREMELY EXTREMELY rare for something to go wrong, we all bar one had fantastic care through ours ;) And if it's your first babies or you've had a natural before you really needen't worry about any of it ;)

I mentioned something and it digressed quite badly - i must appologise, please forgive me i didn't expect it to go downhill so quickly as it wasn't what i was even having a whinge about :( It was the principle and red tape part that was bugging me...sorry :(

    Anywho....

Major stay put vibes to Michelle - try and keep bubs baking for a bit longer!!! x

Thanks redstar - DD is so-so, she seems to be really bad at night and is having coughing fits again this eve...arggghhhh looks like i'll be having another sleepless night tonight :( She has refused to eat all day too which has bugged me a bit...i know it's just coz she's feeling rough though.

Well my chinese take away has just arrived...not sure whether to wait for hubby to get in from work or just go for it and start scoffing, lol :D

Glad your feeling better CAFC - Gordon sounds like such a little cutie pup - lol, i love his full name haha! x

Night everyone, hope you all have a lovely rest of the weekend incase i'm not about before. x Happy Easter all! x

I don't think it is that rare for something to go wrong down to human error.. people just don't want to hear it and others don't want to scare them! It is part and parcel and you can't go in thinking everything will be just as planned and straight forward.. having a plan of action should a problem occur is definitely sensible and not rely on being with someone who has any idea what they are doing.. assume everyone is an idiot, you'll never be disappointed!

If it helps any DS3 was born arm first at 31 weeks.. like superman.. weighin 3lb 10 after a 'speedy' 16.5 hours labour.. that was excellent going for me! not a drop of pain relief.. though I did beg for an epidural and the anaesthetist took 50 minutes to arrive by which time I was ready to push almost and I growled at her to 'eff off she was too late!!' lol

though I did say 'I need to go home it doesn't hurt when I'm there!'

Yep.. I've just decided LGI it is for me this time.. Manchester is a touch too close to interfering in-laws and I would have to slap them! lol

Hang in there Jopsey - I went six very long days over with my little girl and I developed a very strong desire to slap all those well meaning friends and family who said " have you not had the baby yet?", "why don't you have a curry etc". I know they we just trying to help :)

Pigpen is right its not rare for something to go wrong especially if you go in with a set plan and expect that to happen it just doesn't work like that im afraid. everything is fluid with a birth and you just have to go woth the flow. I wasnt trying to bury my head in the sand with my last post regarding births going wrong i am fully aware of what can happen and what will need to be done if it does happen I am just trying not to temp fate and only think positive towards the experience i want to have other wise i would just depress myself with what ifs. I think as long as you keep your mind open to what can happen then having a plan and knowing what you want will not do anyharm.

EGEB you havent frightened me at all its good to know this stuff :-)

Thanks ,I am putting on my status on FB every morning " still here " so that stops some random texts ,I know it will come when ready but the last few weeks I have had soo much pain just needed it over with .

Yesterday I felt like I had really bad PMT ,I was losing my patience with DS over silly things and DP couldn't even look at me ,at least he did some DIY after me having a rant :rotfl:hopefully a better day today ,really want to do something nice but am limited to what I can do, DS is out for the day .

Walk .........feet are really swollen and can't go far

shopping .... TBH I aint a Saturday shopper ,Think me and Pigpen are in
the same mould ,can't be doing with wandering people who have nothing better to do than get in my way (If I sound a really old grump I am lol)

Maybe food somewhere ? any ideas but it has to be out of house I am going staircrazy stuck in and have found a pair of flip flops that fit my expanding feet shame not to wear them:rotfl:
