Confuzzled your symptoms can come and go at any time especially the morning sickness and some lucky people dont get it at all. As for the coloured discharge it can be normal i had it with last bubs and midwife said as it was old brown blood it was just my system cleaning itself out or the plug coming away, apparently they can come away and replenish themselves during a pregancy something i didnt know until then. If it gets heavier of painfull then go to the doctors/hospital straight away. If it stays the same then just keep mentioning it to the midwife so she can keep an eye on it. I am sure she is right and there is nothing to worry about. Fingers crossed it stops soon :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Thanks Xmas
Didn't realise that about the ms...good to know:) tbh I can't wait for it to stop completely but no doubt if it did I'd go into a blind panic:rotfl: How long did you get the brown blood for?? I only see it when I wipe or if go to the loo IYKWIM:o Think the extra pressure spurs it on:o:rotfl:

I had it on and off for about 3 weeks but it didnt come everyday just the odd splodge when wiping. I was worried at first as with my DS1 i bled almost continually through the whole pregnancy as i had placenta previa but that was fresh blood that came pretty much everyday so once midwife explained it deffiantely wasnt the same thing i relaxed alot.
As for the MS can you believe i had a bout of it at i think 35 weeks gone with the last one couldnt keep anything down but it passed after a week or so:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
I do southeastern to Lewisham then DLR (x2 or 3 depending on which train I get on). I have contacted the DLR (i have some contacts there through work
) to say that people don't give up their seats despite the badge and that if they had the priority seat signs which include preg women rather than the 'please give this seat up for disabled people' ones it would help. They are rolling the new ones out apparently.DH has said I just have to shame people and ask for a seat, it's hard though as i've seen people refuse in the past. I will look into the priority seat card but I don't think dlr do one as the lady didn't say (she is pg too so understands!) but southeastern might. I am assuming you're on southern with the massive priority seat signs?!
Yep I'm on southern, at the mo I just tend to wait for the next train with seats., lucky as my station tends to be a very frequent service. Even if I get the card I'm a little scared of asking for a seat, what if they say no!! I think your DH is right though as people will just ignore you at least shame them into it although in my experience tends to be the women who give up seats rather than men. Southeastern do a scheme where you can sit in 1st class if there are no seats in standard, not sure if that helps.

Enjoy your few days off too.
Fuzz re symptoms I think they definitely come and go. My ms went for a week at 13 weeks, came back for a week and now tends to be around as soon as I get up but is gone after a couple of hours. I must admit I don't feel pg at mo as not really showing, still wearing normal clothes but have had flutterings that must be bubsThomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

Enjoy your few days off too.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
I used to moan like anything when I felt sick, tired etc, but when I felt ok, I was worried there was a problem. I think it's normal
I'm not happy unless I'm complaining.
Same now, I complain when i can feel flump kicking me (chooses the sore places and my bladder) then I worry it's not.0 -
Fuzz the nausea with this one has come and gone as it fancied, had a whole week feeling ok at about 7 weeks but very green at 4 months and again for a while around 6 months. The faintness and fatigue has come and gone through most of it too, in fact the best I've felt in myself is during this last trimester, go figure LOL!:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0

Hi there - I was hoping someone could give me some advice. Since my bfp I've been going to my local hospital every 2 weeks because of a pre-existing medical condition coupled with pregnancy. This is going to continue throughout, but the staff said I also might benefit from seeing the community midwife so I feel like a "normal" pregnant woman (!). But I'm not sure what the point is, what do the community midwives do that isn't done in hospitals?
I've checked with my GP and the CM is only there in the middle of the day, one day a week, and I'm not keen to take more time off work (realistically this could be the whole afternoon including getting there and back) when I'm already off one more every couple of weeks and the hospital.
Is it worth taking time off to see the CM or should I just carry on as I am?:(
