Sir Monster - I'd say get one pack of newborn size 1, and then stock up on size 2's. Theres such a large cross over that unless ours is mega small/prem. Probably not going to need size 1's for very long so no point having loads... plus you can always pop out and buy more....
I think my sainsbury voucher has expiredI cant find it either LOL
Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Oh MGEB - was it you that posted about 3 measurements for bra? How does that work?
I'd go with CAFC and call day unit as well, that's what they're for0 -
CAFC - Lol, ahhh well it started with ditching the platinum blonde, now i'm a reddy/plumy coloured brunette (which saved a fortune monthly, about £120, as i can do this myself
), all my make up is Boots No7, good stuff, all bought with boots points mainly, I ONLY eat healthy now - cooking everything from scratch but stuff like salmon/fish with salads, avacodo and mozerella type meals (MUUUUUCH cheaper) and my skin is better wheras i used to spend plenty on 'special' face washes and creams and i do my own manicures (and pedi's but can't reach any more, LOL)....it all started when i gave up work to look after DD, i kindof had no choice but to give up all my luxuries - now i don't mind, i actually prefer it
And for clothes, i haven't bothered with maternity wear (apart from bras) just bought extra long or stretchy tops and still wear all my normal jeans (unbuttoned but covered) and even somehow was wearing 5 inch heeled boots out just on saturday - Lol, i knew i'd be doing next to no walking and felt like dressing up for a meal out with OH's family.Plus i'm a self proclaimed Yummy Mummy, coz if i don't keep myself believing it i'd get miserable, lol! At home its a whole nother story though - jogging bottoms and hair pulled up all messy, lol - i don't need to be yummy if i'm indoors
Mermaid - try here, if you have a small frame or even a larger than average it's the best and most accurate way to measure: http://www.85b.org/bra_calc.php
Yeah, i'll call em in a bit if i don't hear anything within the hour...i am just dreading the 'come in and we'll check' cop outMummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -

Hi All,
Still lurking as always!
I paid for a private scan with Babybond yesterday and they confirmed I'm expecting a little boy. Would someone please update the list with my little blue symbol?
We have so far thought of calling him Kai... but no doubt may change our minds again before the birth!
Good luck to everyone expecting and congratulations to everyone that's given birth recently. x:jHappily Married 12/09/09:j:jDS1 born 22/08/10 7lb 6oz:j

Thanks MGEB - hopefully I can get a decent measurement from that, normal measuring makes me normally a 34A yet I have to wear a 32C ?? Which is a stupid size to get too - 32 backs are nearly impossible especially in anything over an A I've found!!0

Congrats TNV - I like Kai too0

Thank you! Can i ask, how did your early babies get on generally? I'm scared with all the probs i have had so far and then all the 'ready' feelings i'm getting now that i'll have a preemie too. And was you able to breastfeed the earlies? That's one of my things that is getting me, even if i can't physically BF i still want him on breastmilk if poss but don't know if it's poss. I kind of feel a bit left in limbo with this preg, with my first i had great advice and care on hand.
My appt. to see nuerologist is at 36wks and the decision still lies with him as to whether i have a section or not as my consultant wants to see what he says incase it's not safe for me to have the stress of natural (i might have a TIA) BUT i'm v.scared i won't even make it to 36wks with all these twinges.
TNV - Congrats on blue bump....i know a Kai, and he's a lovely boy...so yep double LOVE the name! x
Mermaid - Your welcome, i have same prob...lasenza once measured me as something like a 32A, LOL i just laughed and the woman was trying to get me to try em on in that size. Not a chance!!! You'll prob find your an even smaller back size that 32When i found out i was a 30 back size and a DD cup and got a bra in my correct size it was like heaven, no more wires digging in!

Feeling excited as got my sainsbury's vouchers for my free bundle and other vouchers. Think will have to get them before their third off event finishes tomorrow, as have to buy some huggies nappies to get it - but what size do I get as didn't realise was so much choice!
My little man Thomas is still in size 1 after 5 weeks , but size 2 start at 7lb , so its entirelly upto u , get a cpl of each to start with . i have put size 2 on him but there are much bigger and sag round hes bum
MGEB, i was engaged with Thomas for well over 3 weeks ( he is my 4th ) and dropped really low too, even the MW was telling me at 37 weeks i would be having him within next few hours / days ,eventually he was born at 40 + 5 after being induced , so everyone is differentDont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0 -

They were absolutely fine.
DS3 was 31 weeks and a huge 3lb 10 (stupid people said he was about 5lb based on scan) He was home at 21 days
DS2 was 32 weeks, 4lb 9 and home in 9 days
The others were 34-35 weeks and all home in 2-5 days
DD2 had oxygen for a few hours but none were ventilated or had any problem other than they were too little to feed for long as they got very tired.
They were all breastfed.. granted I had to express for a few days with most of them but at 34-35 weeks they were more than capable of feeding properly.
I am not expecting to reach 35 weeks this time. My membranes form very very thin so any strenuous activity later on when they are taut or vigorous baby movement is likely to break them.. DS3 put his hand straight through and was born arm first.
Seeing as I am to do nothing strenuous I'll get back to my painting!! lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
