Mermaid - Your welcome, i have same prob...lasenza once measured me as something like a 32A, LOL i just laughed and the woman was trying to get me to try em on in that size. Not a chance!!! You'll prob find your an even smaller back size that 32 ;) When i found out i was a 30 back size and a DD cup and got a bra in my correct size it was like heaven, no more wires digging in!

I'm more likely to laugh when they size me right - when I was properly fitted by someone who KNEW what they were doing instead of just whipping out a tape measure, I told her there was no way my little boobs could possibly be a C lol. I think they sit wide if that makes sense? So now even being full of milk and at least a D (haven't been measured :o) I still don't have an actual cleavage unless I've got a decent bra on.

Hi Nikki - Thank you! Congrats on little Thomas, he's gorgeous!!! x x x

I hope i'll hold out then, i'm only 32wks now so still ages to go which is why i am so scared  I'm soooo not ready mentally yet but if it's gonna be like this for the next few weeks i'd rather him make up his mind, lol! It feels like he is gonna drop out when i walk - lets hope labour is as easy as that this time ey!:p I'm contemplating doing some headstands to push him back up, lol!

Awww thank you Pigpen - that has made me feel much better, i'm glad to hear they were all thriving so quickly - i think my little man is a fighter too. I was really scared after watching the last OBEM, but have had to keep reminding myself they put the worst cases on TV as it makes for more interesting viewing....but it's still scary! My OH keeps telling me off for watching and he refuses to watch with me. x

    Hello all

went for physio today was a group session which leads to some very interesting moments as some people were very thick bless them and asked some ridiculous questions or made some silly comments and I am no snob but some people were very common!! Anyway group was little use to me as back problem stems from an injury almost 3yrs ago and only reason in more pain is because cant take mega painkillers so have made an appointment with the physio for a 1:1 appointment mid april which will take an hr, so was probably quickest route to get the 1:1 app.

Got a pack of huggies sz 3 today in tesco for 98p as had a £2 off voucher from baby club and then a £1 off huggies voucher and used both although both were for newborn used self service and they worked. (huggies sz 2, 3 and 4 currently 1/3 off so £3.98 a pack in tesco).

Just ordered some very cheap little girls tights on marks and spencers site is quite slow at checkout so some went out of stock but still lots of choice got a twin pack reduced from £5 to £1 for goddaughter in 6-12mths for her birthday in nov she is a dot so will fit her and a twin pack reduced from £6-£1 for my niece in 18-24mths for her birthday in sept and also got her some butterflt kiddies cookie cutters for £1.50, there is a code for free delivery on discount threads on here.

MGEB - OBEM was featuring very premature babies (I think Izzy was born at 24 wks or something like that?) and she was a twin, and william was one of triplets, so obviosuly going to much smaller and less developed than a 'one on it's own' if you know what I mean :)

My friend's nephew was born by emergency c-section at 33 wks after the mum was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia. She had been very sick and poorly all the way through her pregnancy and he still weighed over 3lb. He was in hospital for a week or so but is home and doing really well now

    Hi ladies,

just thought I'd delurk and say hi :D Not a lot going on, feel stressed with work and naughty kids (I've just realised I've got !!!!!!!g nits too - who'd be a teacher!)

Welcome to the newbies and congratulations to Nikkit.

Two weeks till scan day, I think we're pretty much decided not to find out the sex; I'm much happier with this and I think hubby, although he would like to know, likes a quiet life more :o:rotfl:

Can I just ask, those of you who work, when you have one of those weeks where you're just exhausted and feel you're neither use nor ornament do you just press on at work or do you call in sick? And if you do call in, what's your reason? I mean you can't just say I'm knackered and fed up can you!
    Updating soon...
  • I'm off work for the next little while as it was getting too stressful, getting panic attacks at night and spending the day feeling really anxious. Feel a little better now I'm off.

I was just wondering does anyone else feel they are not bonding with their bump like they should be ?? I think it stems from the stress I've been feeling over the last few months at work, I'm 20 weeks on Wed and although I talk about baby & feel it kick all the time, I feel like it is happening to someone else.

My doctor is concerned that with all the stress, anxious feelings, panic I've been feeling if I don't get it sorted before baby comes I'll end up a high risk case for post natal depression.

He mentioned referring me for counselling which I though was silly but the more I think about it the more I think it will help. I'm usually the strong one when it comes to everything, work, extended family, immediate family etc, I'm the one everyone asks for help and I'm finding it really hard asking for help and I feel really weak !!

I've started writing everything down to try to get it out of my head, I'm trying to relax and while I find switching my body off is easy, my mind is quite another matter. I've been taking rescue remedy, I'm not sure if it's helping but it makes me feel like I'm doing something.

Another moan, I've had almost every pregnancy discomfort which isn't helping, still being sick at 20 weeks, round ligament pain, suspected carpal tunnel syndrom, nose bleeds, shocking constipation ( I'm on laxatives 3 times daily ), headaches, dizziness, backpain and also since 10 weeks I've been having knee, foot & ankle pain connected with a previously undiagnosed disorder which will apparently have to wait until the baby is 3 months before I can seek treatment ( underpronation ). I feel like a hypocondriac ( sp )

    Anyone else feeling low ??

    Sorry for the moan
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:
