((((hugs)))) to 1more, seems like parents and inlaws can cause us more stress than we need.

Thanks for advice re NCT was interested re prices some were quoting, thought must be wrong so rechecked it is definitely £300 at this branch but at a branch 3 miles away is about £200 (thats what I get for living in London, being ripped off but at least more choice). Still need a think whether it is worth it . . .

    Have a good evening all.

I'm guessing this would cover me, if I also got a breast pump?

I feel it's a design flaw, a zip across the tummy would have been much better :rotfl:

I would vote for that :T Its riddiculas that we are made to suffer for some dozy mare eating an apple. Eve has a lot to answer for  !!! :rotfl:

Oh, and I got myself one of these: http://www.woolworths.co.uk/body-support-pillow/582718340.prd?browseToken=%2fb%2f13004%2fq%2fmaternity+pillow%2fs%2fbestsellers%2c0%2fo%2f3&trail=13004&prdToken=/p/prod41381-sku2975155

You can use it in bed or as a nursing pillow or toddler seat. It's nice and comfy in bed and I think will be good as i get bigger. I used my Topcashback and got aboyt £3.40 back so it's a good tenner cheaper than anywhere else I've seen.

managed to get two packs of moses basket sheets today, 2 in a pack, and also got 2 x 2 pk of cot sheets..... and a packet of 6 muslins....

And Tesco had size 2 nappies value pack 100 in a box, 2 boxes for £18..... which after our day of money crunching etc was the best offer we could find anywhere......

I'm with you on the velcro/ zip thing! It would be nice to know what bubs is up to when it's squirming about like mad.

Budget, that pillow looks really comfy. What is the actual stuffing? Is it jsut like a regular pillow stuffing or something else?

I'm starting to wonder whether I should get one, as I keep waking up in the night and morning with my hips killing me. I've a feeling OH would get jealous though, cos he'd want one too. When he was little, he used to ask to be put to bed, and could quite happily sleep all day if he wasn't so busy all the time. Fingers crossed bubs takes after him and not me, who just wasn't a sleeper.

The pillow bit is like a very firm normal pillow (like the kind you'd get in a bolster) and it can be long like a sausage or zipped into a 9 shape - then there's a middle round bit (imagine in the middle of the top of the 9). I usually sleep with it curled around me. It's designed for a bigger bump than mine but I would recommend. OH often spends 10 minutes stroking it thinking it's my leg (apparently it feels just like a leg in pjs?!) :rotfl:
