  • Ooooh looks like i popped in at a good time!

Wow, kindof, congrats on Elliot!!!! Shows me time does fly after all! x x x

    Congrats on the scan Rach.

Hope all is well with the rest of you yummy-mummy to be's!!! x

I don't pop in near as much as i should - seem to be keeping busy and wishing the rest of my last trimester away as i'm getting a bit fed up of being preggers, just want bubs now! x

  • CAFC - this time round i have bought EVERYTHING off of ebay, with items being used and new appropriately (ie. bottles, sterilisers, reusable nappies, cot mattress, etc all brand new but from ebay shops or sellers selling sealed stuff - the rest like clothing, buggy, etc is mainly used but near new), just need to know what you are looking for and how to grab a bargain. And what makes it even better is everything has been funded by me getting rid of stuff on ebay anyway - so i think apart from a really cute pair of booties i saw in George, nappies/toiletries etc everything else has not really cost me a penny, just clutter that needed to be got rid of anyway. Talk about 2 birds with 1 stone, lol! x

I'm sorry to hear that, that must be depressing. Hope you're feeling a bit brighter now?
I've got three more weeks to go, and you're right - I can't wait! I feel huge, and can moan for Britain!

  • I'm 18 + 5 today and hubby just felt the baby kick for the first time. I've been feeling it since 12/13 weeks getting stronger + stronger and last night I realised I could feel it from the outside. I'm over the moon, tried to get ds 5 to feel it but he doesn't have the patience to wait 1 minute !!

  • Lol, me too - i have my days where everything i seem to moan about and then my perky happy days, lol! 3 weeks, that'll be gone before you know it!!! x

I'm trudging along, i keep having TIA's (mini strokes) which is really quite scary, never know until the day they come that one might hit. All i keep thinking is i am only 24, why is this happening to me? Worst thing is doctors don't know if it's just me or the pregnancy doing this to me, so no-one knows if they'll still happen AFTER bubs is out :( So yep, trying to stay positive, coz if i don't i'll prob be a mess!

And they still don't know whether it's safe for me to go into labour...so a big waiting game for me :( I just really want it all over and done with now!

And baby bump is getting strong - he keeps whacking me right in the lungs or worse my cervix and i nearly pee myself, lol!

MGEB - that does sound scary, I'm sorry that you're having to deal with it, especially at the moment. I do hope they can give you some reassurance soon.

Exciting!!!! I'm exactly the same due date as you so maybe that means hubby will feel ours soon too!!
    Updating soon...
  • I find the baby kicks against anything thats touching my tummy, counter at work, knicker elastic etc so if my hubby puts a small bit of pressure where I felt the last kick and waits a minute or two he gets a great big kick.... have fun trying ..
