my_gorgeous_ellie-belle wrote: »Kitkat - do you have a proper doppler, like the ones midwives use, or is it one like the mothercare one? The latter is kind of crap - the best ones are the ones you hire just like midwives ones, i used them with DD. I think they do make you a little more paranoid though in some ways...you just keep checking 2-3 times a day 'just to make sure' wheras if you can't check, well you just get on with it and think about it every day or so.
Its just a cheap one from Argos, I did want a doppler but they seemed so dear!! OH bought me this as a present so I try to use it to keep him happy, but it does just worry me more I reckon!:rotfl:0 -
Yeah - lol, you prob won't get much luck out of that then, bless him for buying it though! You can hire them, the proper ones, i think about £10 or £15 a month, and to be honest you'd prob only need it for about a month too as then baby bean should be kicking about more regularly then. But they litterally are the hospital ones so much more worth it.Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0

Had to ask, in the little hope i'm not alone - but has anyone elses teeth gone completely to pot this pregnancy?
I have lost all 3 whole fillings, didn't crumble, just as if my teeth rejected them and they came out whole and there was no hint at a problem before i was pregant  and the bleeding gums, i looks terrible after every brushing.Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
MGEB...YES my teeth are awful, they were with ds3 too. I also lost 3 fillings last year when pregnant and suffered with chronic toothache and bleeding gums through at least half the pregnancy. This time I have already had three bouts of toothache all of which lasted for up to 4 days a time and yes, bleeding gums again!
Sorry to read about your problems and being in and out of hospital so often, it sounds like you are having a rough time of it atm...I hope it improves, or least doesn't get any worse.

Oh, i'm sorry to hear that, grrrr it's not good is it? I am a bit relieved it's not just me though...i am scared to go to the dentist incase i get told off for not looking after them or something, when really i am trying, they just want to fall outI don't eat alot of sugar or drink sugary drinks either but i have teeth of a sweetie addict now, lol!

Your welcome, lol the only reason i'm up too is hubbie is on nights and i always have a tough time sleeping if he's not here so i know what you mean! Otherwise when he's on any other shift i'd be tucked up in bed and fast asleep by 10pm, like all the others here! xMummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0
