Thanks - me too! OMG, i feel a moan coming on haha, is anyone having stupidly strong braxton hicks that actually hurt to move once having one? Owwww!
Congrats on hubbie feeling bubs move MYLITTLESISTERLOLA...you'll be going 'quick feel this' alot from now on, haha, i still do! Yeah the best way is give it a few weeks and pop a remote control or something on your tum and let bub kick it - it's the only way my DD (3) got to see as she couldn't pay attention long enough but was amazed at seeing that, lol i think she thought it was a game as she'd put her hand on my tum randomly and go 'mum, he kicked me' when bump hadn't even moved, lol!Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
MGEB, that sounds scary for you, no wonder you're not often around.
Kindof, it's lovely to see the progression of Elliott from being poorly, to the end where he just looks so snuggly.
Rach - yay for scan and cooperative baby.
Smartie, you do have a naughty beanie, but at least you got a wave. 5 weeks seems like an awful long time to wait, do you think you'll manage to get one in earlier, or even go private?
Ugh, I have my GTT test tomorrow morning. So not looking forward to it. It's more the not eating thing rather than the blood thing with me. So long as I don't look at what they're doing, I can blank it.

Thats really nice MLSL! I can feel kicks every now and again but when OH puts his hand on my belly its like the baby goes all shy!!! I am very impressed by all your bargains! I think I will start going around car boot sales over Easter, at least you can look at stuff as I have had problems with Ebay in the past. I will buy some new stuff too as I am very allergict to dust and some items that cud be tricky to clean might affect both me and the baby. Going to buy a new pram, moses basket, cot mattress and see what bargains I can find buying other bits 2nd hand!0 -
MGEB - Sorry to hear your having so many problems. Your little man has been awkward right from the start hasn't he?! Let's hope this means he'll be as good as gold when he's here. Don't know if you read far enough back but EA has has Lily as well now.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0

Evening ladies
Kindof its really good to hear you and bubs are both home now YAY
Smartie congrats on your book win
Rach Yay for your scan
Well i am slightly recovered from the weekend but im still a bit achy my older two have gone to their dads for a couple of days so i can rest more now. i am still really worried about new bean i am feeling some very slight movements but nothing in comparison to the last three when i was this far gone (im 18wks wednesday) my next scan is on the 9th april. The only thing i can think is happening is either bean is laying funny so i can't feel him/her or because i am being so much more active with this pregnancy that i am just not noticing. I am trying not to let it get the better of me after all there is no other signs to say everything is not ok no pains or bleeding and i am feeling some movement just not a lot. I am however wishing the next 3 weeks away so i can see him/her again and put my mind at rest:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Xmas.. mine is very very quiet compared to the others too.. I have had one kicktoday.. and that was after a 10 minute poking.. I appear to have a placenta coming over the top and down the front of my tummy which makes it difficult to feel movements anyway but it is nextto nothing.. by this stage with the others they were practically trampolining yet this one just lays there letting the world go by.. just like dad really! The main thing worrying me is the ones that have been quieter before birth have been absolute horrors after birth!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

I am 20 weeks friday and cant always feel movements, i went afew days last week without feeling them at all, since the weekend i cud feel them again. OH tried poking my belly so he cud feel the movements and the following morning i was really sick, it was awful. I just keep reassurring myself that at least theres some movements, and i am not having pains or bleeding. I wish that we cud just pop into the MVs at any hour and listen to the heartbeat, gota wait until my scan on 30th and it seems to be taking ages, i need reassurance!!! I have one of those heartbeat monitor things, but its almost impossible to pick up a heartbeat as my bean keeps bloody moving!! Grr! I still dont really hav a bump (its very minimal) and my weight hasnt really changed (just put back on what i lost from morning sickness) these babies do like to worry us!!!0 -
Thanks Gill and Bex - yes, it's like i have a second home at the hospital, lol - each time i go for an appointment now i take an overnight bag just incase they keep me in yet again. Too many times i was unprepared and that's the worst as we live about 45 mins (£18 special fare now, lol) by cab. Yeah he has given me trouble since about 8wks preg so i hope he behaves once he is out - hopefully a good little mummys boy, lol - knowing my luck not a chance!
I saw EA's as she is on my facebook - her baby girl is gorgoeus! Just in time for mothers day too!
Kitkat - do you have a proper doppler, like the ones midwives use, or is it one like the mothercare one? The latter is kind of crap - the best ones are the ones you hire just like midwives ones, i used them with DD. I think they do make you a little more paranoid though in some ways...you just keep checking 2-3 times a day 'just to make sure' wheras if you can't check, well you just get on with it and think about it every day or so.Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
Kitkat i am tempted to buy a dopler but i think it would just worry me more if i couldnt get it to work properly and couldnt find the heart beat. i know i am worrying over nothing but you just cant help it can you :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0
