It was an avent breast pump i had last time with DD, i only used it when feeding tho. eg I would have dd on one side and the pump on the other and found that after a few go's at it, I could express for as long as she fed. I always offered the second breast at every feed tho too just to make sure it was empty! lol Also, found that it helped keep up my supply when I went back to work I could still feed her myself in the evening and if she was up at night. The stuff that was expressed was frozen and meant that she got breast and formula for a while when I did go back. I've bought one again for this baby (the silicone/rubber bits were degraded when i opened the box to check it!) so hoping to do the same - not going to be working tho as dh going to uni in Sept but it means i can get a wee night out here or there!
CAFC - i quite liked Matalan for sheets too, totally agree on the mothercare prices and I know i cant afford them right now.
Kindof - your photos are stunning! Its great to see the man getting better as they go along. Enjoy your new wee family. x
Smartie - thats pants about your scan! I think i'd be trying to get a earlier one too.
MW appointment went well, all checks fine, baby's head was free though - but i'm sure its been in and out a few times, maybe just when i lie down for mw it pops out! lol So shes not planning to see me again till 5th April which she'll do at home cos its Easter Monday - I was like, come on over - i'm sure i'll have had the baby then anyway! lol (due 2nd April!).

Just got the feeling back in my arm after the fat pug fell asleep in my arms like a baby....good practice i guess...
Means im only just getting my lunch, yummy tomato and cheese pasta bake.
Breakfast was a huge bowl of cheerios, two slices of hot cross bun loaf (high recommend btw) and a blueberry muffin.... keep thinking about a sausage sarnie...... nom nom nom xx
ETA - Glad mw went well hun. Thanks for the tip re matalan. Hopefully I can get dh to drive me out there when hes off and my HIP money comes through, £4 a pack of two according to their website so thats pretty good.Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Choccybikkie - thanks for doing that:A! I was literally just wondering whether i should try and add myself! 17th on the list... Mine's a boy.
Cool, have added you a little blue symbol to Edd list on previous page (even though you have queue jumped me:cool:) lol only joking I can handle being 18th on the list (well 17th cos I'm sure Gyms induction would've given her her lil man now!):)
Salesshopper- if you know what you're having we can add you a symbol tooBusy mummy of 4.:j0 -

Hi, ex-preg club lurker here
I keep checking for births and piccies.
CAFC girl, we use normal pillowcases instead of moses basket sheets, saved us a fortune as our little munchkin used to be sick quite a lot. HTH.0 -

Anyone looking for a crib or cot the kensington range at babies r us is half price so the crib is £80 at the moment not sure about cot, we are considering the crib at the moment can be seen online but looked lovely in the shop.
CAFC - try NCT sales our first wasnt great experience but would try another from what people have said some are better than others. Have a look on www.netmums.co.uk register for your local area and look on the for sale section on there. Car boots are great they usually start around now and obv if outside they wont be on if chucking it down with rain - also fab for selling any junk (we seem to accumlate loads) you want to clear out before baby arrives, we do a boot sale every year and usually make between £30 and £100 depending on how much junk we have and how busy it is.0 -
