But at least you saw him, and got a wave. Ours waved on our first scan as well and then he looked like he was giving us the finger.....

I'm holding out for car boot season.. if you can get to the first few you can usually pick up some fabulous bargains!
If you are wanting to breastfeed why not just breastfeed rather than go through the faff of expressing which is often very difficult? (I don't want an answer just think about it) I had 8 bottles for my chuckers who had to have thickener in their milk.
Sheets.. I had 4 fitted ones (they came in packs of 2) and I used a muslin square over the top so I could get away with just changing that rather than the whole sheet if they sicked or whatever on it.
I have OH's mum on the spending spree.... not sure if she has volunteered to buy the cot or the crib or both yet.. I am confused!! I'll just buy both and give her the prices and let her go from there on how much she wants to give us.

its kind of a weird pyschological thing.....
I want to breastfeed but i've had some freakish panic attacks over it.. I dont know exactly what it is about the physical doing of it..... it just freaks me out.... hence why i thought express breast feeding would be my next best option....
I know you didnt want an answer LOL just thought i'd put it out there anyway
Sheets - Thats a good idea, thanks for that. Im struggling finding any anywhere, I dont really want to pay mothercare pricesNothing wrong with it if you can, but we cant really afford it...

CAFC have a look here and see if there are any NCT sales in your area.....they're supposed to be fab so long as you get there early:D also might be worth looking at new parents classes for breastfeeding, might help put your mind at rest? They do them in surestart centres hth x

I said it's bound to be a boy... or I suppose it could be a little madam!! I blame the father for it's naughtiness;):DBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Kindof - super pics Elliot is a big cutie and I'm glad you have him home
Did you manage to BF in hospital?
Well off to register Tahlie at 3pmI cant belive she is a week old already! Her cord came off yesterday just before the midwife visited so was good as she was able to give it a look over and deemed it ok. She also was really impressed with how well behaved she was, didn't make a peep for the heel !!!!! test! Says she's a lovely colour and the best bit she weighed her and she actually gained weight
and is now 8lb, so the BF is going better than I thought. Have just letting T feed as and when she wants and assuming she knows how much she wants.
Hope everyone else is well xxBaby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Choccybikkie - thanks for doing that:A! I was literally just wondering whether i should try and add myself! 17th on the list... Mine's a boy.
CAFCGirl - I'm planning on BFing and hope to express so my OH gets a chance to feed the little one. I have a manual pump which comes with one bottle, three Nuby bottles and a pack of milk freezer bags for storage (maybe slightly optimistic!). That should get us started - you can always by more if things work out.
Well, i'm half way through my last Monday at work :j(until 2011, at least!), and if i was hoping for a quiet week i must have been deluded! Might go and buy some chocolate buttons to get me through the afternoon. Someone mentioned Giant Buttons on here the other day, i think, and i've been dreaming about them ever since!:drool:Debt free date: October 2006 :money:0 -
Cafc- Matalan and Wilko have them for cheap, and they are 100% cotton, good quality sheets. I had 4, but never opened 1 pack as never needed them so only used 2.0

Yum, giant buttons... I've got some at home but I'm at work
I found that breast pumps hurt like hell, I had a TT and another brand, I think it was Avanti? If I was feeding DD at home, without visitors, I held a bottle under the other side to catch milk lol - my opposite side sprayed horrendously every time she fedOr hand expressed, which seemed to get the milk quicker than a pump and saved the sore nips.
