Arghhh if they put my dates back, I am the most impatient in the world.

Thank you really nervous about it, hopefully will be able to post pic tomorrow afternoon all being well.

I know what you mean, the weeks are going waaaay too slowly for me! I suppose when it gets nearer the time and there's lots to do they'll fly!

    Hi everyone,
I'm another one suffering from pregnant insomnia (whoops - I originally put amnesia - freudian slip, I think!), so Jopsey you have my sympathy.
Smartie - ouch for your toe, hope it clears up soon.
    Welcome to Lav and Budgetbeauty.
Good luck for your scan CE.

    MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to everyone (Im so sorry but I havent quite figured out how to use multiquote and I had 5 pages to read and I cant remember everyones names!) for their replies.....

We've got quite a lot of stuff in all honesty, its just what I class as the really boring cack to get now LOL Like sheets, bottles, nappies.... Clothes I dont think this one is gonna struggle with till he's about 4 - thats how crazy my mum has gone with it all! So much so that the two c'o'drawers we've got cant fit any more in them so now we need a wardrobe...

Pigpen - I will try it, and never know might just amaze myself by becoming a total earth mother and all my issues and wonderful quirks will become a thing of the past! But due to one of said wonderful quirks, I feel the need to be prepared for all eventualities.....

I know this might sound really stupid but I think I've got my "glow" today(not to be confused with show").... Managed to get up, showered, blow dry and styled my hair ( say styled, whacked my ghd's through it to tame the beast) and made an effort with a bit of an outfit, well its not yoga pants and one of DH's t-shirts. I feel like I should be on the front of a baby mag looking all yummy mummy with my white tunic and linen trousers on....

Admittedly the reality is my face is peeling, ive got red eyes from over tiredness and my trousers are covered in blonde pug hair, but you know....... its better than most days.... maybe this is all the glow I can hope for..... the beaming red eyes!

HAVE GOT to do some housework today, woke up to a pair of working nostrils which means I can smell the fat pug, plus brown carpet and blonde pug do not mix and I havent done the washing up for two days.....oh and theres a fat load of laundry for me to do...

Time to dock the Ipod I think!!!

Had a nice week last week as OH was off. We started on getting bubs some clothing - still not got much though!!!:) We won a moses basket and stand (Babies 'R' Us I Love My Bear) on eBay and it cost us £25 inc sheets/blankets.

We had a lovely couple of days in Whitby as well which was a nice change of scenery:)

Past few days Ive started to notice the extra weight Im lugging around (Im 30+2) and soon get tired. No sign of the dreaded stretch marks yet but Im sure theyll turn up sooner or later :) Also got my 1st maternity bra from Debenhams, 'only' gone up a back and cup size
Opinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!! :D

As yorky has mentioned stretch marks, when have most people noticed them? With dd I thought I'd got away with it, literally had about 3 inch long, yet after giving birth had loads - my mum said she could actually see them popping through when I was in labour!

Smartie; Hope you toe gets better soon, put your feet up and relax!

LMSL; If your feeling tired out, take some time off. You need to stay well with carrying a baby. If you go to the docs and tell them how you feel I am sure they will sign you off for a few days, my doc offered to sign me off over xmas as I felt so tired and dehydrated but as it was xmas I decided to work over it, however, if I feel like that again I will defo be taking time to chill out, would not like to put my baby under any stress.

Went to dentist this morning, and bubs was wriggling like hell when they were drilling! Maybe its not just me who hates the dentist!!!

Well as someone whose now not so very dear to me has just pointed out, "a good outfit can do a lot for how you're feeling but your face -you cant change, so theres only so much an outfit can do really"

And thankyou for that dearest friend :rotfl::rotfl:

Maybe yours will kick in soon hun, we're due around the same time.
Im an 8 normally as well and so far ive just become all bump and boob, havent gained much anywhere else i dont think..
DH keeps pointing out how big my boobs are getting, poor boy, he's had no benefit from it :p

I apparently look like im about to give birth any minute, everyone keeps looking so shocked when I say June.... its when they say "really? June? Are you sure?" No I'm lying, I plan on bursting my waters all over your shoes right now and giving birth against this shop fixture!!!!

Washing up is done, one load of laundry is on, one load in dryer, just wiped down the leather sofa, and the coffee table.... its amazing how nothing ever seems to look dirty, till you clean it, and realise
