    Hija

I've been having quite sore stomach pains. I've heard of ligaments stretching but this has been actually very uncomfortable, verging on painful even. Does this sound right? I can't find anything in my pg books or online that suggests it should be anything other than slightly uncomfortable. Sometimes when I'm sat down I feel like I can't get up straight away, I need to let the pain settle first

I'd get a couple of newborn ones Gill, maybe just cheapy supermarket ones in case they don't get much wear? Expecting our baby to be big but we've still got some newborn vests as I reckon even a big newborn will be too small for the 0-3 ones?

    Afternoon all

Just been lounging on the sofa all day like a right beached whale.....

RE Visitors for baby. Im kinda lucky that noone lives very close so they'd have to arrange visits beforehand, but then by the same token im stuck with them for days!
My actual point is though, and according to my preggers book, its helpful to have a "safe word" or tact with OH's to signal to them when you're getting tired/bored of people.
I know Im gonna need that because Im too polite with people and put up with them for fair too long and then will moan afterwards but because ive seemed ok DH doesnt notice...
And then its DH's responsibility to get rid of people LOL My parents and family I dont see being that much of a problem but his parents are gonna do my nut.....

Just sat here and munched through a pot noodle... bought two and I could so eat the other one right now, also got some mini strawberry cheesecakes and a big fat bag of malteasers.......... oh what to eat what to eat LOL

Hypnobirthing - im really intrigued to learn more but when ive googled it, all i get is people offering me their services for money LOL
I agree with the posts about singing. Im really looking forward to getting my playlist sorted for my ipod of music to give birth to LOL I find Lighthouse Family, Michael Buble, Lizz Wright calming, and then for positivity I love motown stuff.....

I had this, it actually felt like a stitch but right across the front and much lower down.... I had to breathe through it and then move in stages, so legs off sofa, then upright, then to edge of sofa... etc rather than in one full motion...

Yeah, that's how mine feels too. Sounds like it's nothing to worry about then

Thanks for the advice (not medical, obviously! :p)

    Oooh, sounds promising Kindof!

EA, that change bag is lush, but phht to OH, who's said I shouldn't buy anymore just yet. I could understand if I'd gone on a mental buying spree, but I really haven't. I got about 12 plain white sleepsuits in different sizes because Adams Kids was closing down, and they were mega cheap, 3 Ladybird sleepsuits for £3 from Boyes, and then I just got a bundle off ebay (9 items for 99p!). I also bought myself some itti bitti nappies which were on special offer as a birthday present to myself (sad I know, but hey) I had actually decided I wasn't going to get anything else for a bit anyway, but phht to him for saying so!

Bexta - I found Boyes had some really good bargains recently. I got two pairs of shoes in there 12-15 mnths for 62p each, and they had good bargains on gro bags as well.....am going to go back there again when Ive got my HiPG and have a spend xx

Courgette - I think like me (with past experiences) hun, its so hard not to think every sensation is a bad one. It took a while for me to accept that I really was pregnant and it wasn't being clutched away from me with every twinge, sniffle and ache......
Positivity makes for a speedier, easier pregnancy and labour (my new daily mantra!) LOL :)

Anyone else had super itchy/slightly stingy nipples? I feel like I've got sandpaper in my bra and it's rubbish! Cheapest/most effective cure? I've had little bits of leaking, but nothing much more than a drop or two for the last four weeks and it's been making me a bit stingy and uncomfy. Except last night when I actually woke up because my top/arm were soaking...highly unimpressed and sorer today because of it! Surely they can't keep doing that for the next 15 and a bit weeks?!
