Do you have contractions to time Kindof?? Hope you do! Will this one do - http://www.contractionmaster.com/

Lovely bag EA - I almost bought it myself :) Couldn't decide, went back & it was gone, doh! Glad all's well with the midwife & stitches are out :D

Glad you're feeling better today Gill :)

Kel you look perfect for 35 weeks, definitely not massive!

Som I can totally sympathise with worries about post birth/OH. OHs family are already bothering me constantly asking if he's here, any twinges etc. I've taken to sending the same text every day saying yes he's here, couldn't be bothered to let you know :) Doesn't seem to get it through to them though as they persist in texting the next day asking if he's here! Try not to worry too much - if having people around gets too much just take the LO to your room and shut to the door, tell them you're feeding, and hope they get the hint! Or try laying down the law now - I've told OH I'm not having his family in the room when I'm feeding (his mums a bit intrusive, to say the least) and nobody visiting in massive blocks for like 4 hours at a time, so at least he knows in advance to get rid of people for me!

Jolene I love Arthur for a boy (it's the name of an old guy who was like a grandfather to me), I wanted it for baby but OH veto'd it :( Astrid is lovely too.

Jopsey really hope things are on the up for you now, sounds like you've had a horrid time, x

Glad all was well @ the hospital Delain :D Can't wait to find out if there's two!

    Jessica's lovely Brednall :)

Loads of labour vibes for everyone who would like them :D

I feel pretty good today, managed to walk about 3 miles today to the shops twice, gonna go for another long walk once OH is back from work - I find the more I sit down the more pain my back/pelvis is in, so plan to just keep walking :D Just cleaned the bathroom & hoovered the upstairs & the stairs, planning to make a thai curry for tea - domestic goddess for the day, OH will be in shock :rotfl: Didn't end up going out last night, got a bath then pretty much fell asleep, was debating going out tonight but think I'll be too tired so gonna go for lunch on Sunday instead :D

Gymfiend I am not sure, all through the pregnancy well when I started getting BH they always felt like the air has been knocked out of me and I have to slowly inhael through nose and out through mouth for a while then it goes away

Well now that is happening and at the same time my belly is tightning and I am getting period type cramps, and I suddenyl get flushed and hot?

Thanks for the link, if it is a contraction it cloked a 2 min one from 4.45 to 4.47 but nothing since yet

I too am worried about feeding Elliot and if MIL and them come round they are all breast is best etc and pro feeding and they think its the most natuiral thing to do whereas I dont and its taken me the whole 9 months to come around to the idea of BF so I reckon they will expect me to feed in frint of them, no flipping way!

OHhhhhh Gym you might be nesting!!!!!!!

I'm putting all of little man's clothes in his drawers in the nursery :) Makes it all seem very real...they're so little and cute .

re the breastfeeding in the room with the IL's my problem is actually the opposite. MIL couldn't breastfeed and I get the impression she feels a lot of guilt about it, gets a bit tearful when she talks about the pressure that was put on her. She's actually tried to convince me not to breastfeed saying that it didnt do her two any harm!! I'd be quite happy with this if I couldn't/didn't want to and she was trying to make me feel better, but I get the impression she doesn't want me to so that she feels better iykwim! I think she might find it hard to see me feeding when she couldn't. (hopefully I'll be able to from an MSE point of view more than anything else lol)

A quick question re bodysuits - I have some 0 - 3 month body suits some from mothercare for up to 14lb and some from m & s for up to 13.5lb. They are short sleeved. Will these be ok for baby straight away or should I get a couple of newborn ones? Expecting baby to be 7 - 9lbs going off family history although I'm measuring small atm

Haha don't think it's nesting, just disgusted with how gross the carpets were!! I swear our cats roll on every inch of carpet to leave their hair behind - delightful :)

Hope it is contractions Kindof :D

OHs family on both sides have told me not to breastfeed pretty much - OHs sis gave up after a few days with her daughter, MIL never breastfed (choice) and FIL thinks it's nice for dads to be able to feed - I agree to some degree, but as I'll be main caregiver whilst OH is at work, I'm not wanting to inconvenience myself just to please him once a day! (Does that sound really harsh?!) It's amazing how much emotion there is attached to what's really such a simple & natural process, and amazing how everyone thinks it's their right to poke their nose into other parents decisions!
