I've got some pairs of Next ones, brand new for just over £10 from ebay, but I got the first pair one size up and they are ENORMOUS so buy your usual size :rotfl:

Hmmm I didnt realise that we were legally entitled to be paid for attending antenatal classes - think I might look into some day time ones to see if there's one early enough for DH to come to and still have time to go to work afterwards. Mainly because I just really don't want to be at work atm so it's a good way to get out of it for a few hours!!

Bored!!! What to do with my self?? Have now been off over 4 weeks and this is growing tiresome. TV is ok for a while but I get the fidgets after a while and the house work is done to death! Comp only entertains for so long too, books same as TV! Now am overdue and feel like I shouldnt go too far from the house incase anything kicks off, mainly for the sake of the dog! Am, also getting anxious over what OH family expects when she is here. Think his mum is expecting to see LO everyday and either us to go to them or OH to pick her up and bring her here. Also silly I know but both OHs brothers smoke and dont want them handling bubs stinking of smoke. I also think everyone is gonna think am being really over protective but dont want everyone man handling her and her being passed around constantly, have heard this can make baby very hard to settle! Also am concious that BFing and lack of sleep will mean things here are a gonna be a lil all over the shop for the first few weeks, and OH only has 2 weeks paternity so its important to us both/all we get into a routine asap without people popping by all the time! I know I sound a lil freaked and maybe parnoid, please fell free to give me a mental kick up the bum! Oh and sorry for the me post.

I have the same concerns as you esp with regards to OH only having two weeks, and I would like to be in a routine wihtout people popping in all the time, i read somewhere that MW comes loads after baby is born and the health visitor and I am just like NO I want it to be us 3 and just us 3!!!!

As for tv thankfully i record lots of stuff of a night time lol I am currently watching American Idol

YOu can come round here if you want and do my housework lol

Bexta I hope your right lol, I made it back still with baby in belly lol

Might nap now I am really tired

Bexta, I've found if anything I should have gone a size down, am 26 weeks now so think they should be ok by now?! Have got a pair of Mothercare jeans which aren't too bad as they have the adjustable waistband, but pair from Next give me a builders bum. Not too impressed as they're supposed to be skinny jeans :( although I think I've still lost weight on legs and bum, my pre-preg leggings etc seem loose in those areas.

Som, people do expect a lot from new parents, you'll prob have to put your foot down! In one way, this is where hospital visiting times can be helpful, but then they also restricted OH visiting when I was in with DD so want HB this time! You could try telling people what times they are welcome to visit?

Kindof - enjoy your nap, I dont mind the MW or HV so much as I really thats kinda necassary and feel they might be able to reassure me more, just hoping I get a good HV and my own usual MW cos she is a nutter but in a nice down to earth way hehe. I record lots of tv too so am not short of any to watch but I find after an hour Im kinda fidgeting about, sitting still doing one thing is not in my repetoire!

Kelenik - love the bubble story, dont think it will work for me tho lol, but thanks all the same x

bexta - have jeans from Mothercare and altho I work for them think there rubbish and wouldnt recomend them! They were ok for early PG but even with adjustable waist I dont think they really do give much! Also had some from Littlewoods and think they were carp too, so am living in yoga pants atm. Shame cos whould love to wear jeans there just uncomfy! Anyhoo def try them on and dont spend loads on them. Think am gonna ebay mine cos wont wear them next PG! Will buy new :D

mermaid - thats one reason I want to stay in hospital for at least a day and get people to visit there so there limited to two at a time and only for 2 hours. Am also gonna tell peeps that turning up un announced will not be welcome!

Have decided am gonna stand and walk about as much as poss now cos its the only thing that seems to get things moving atm, the min I sit down it all calms down. So dog walk and shopping coming up soon :D Oh and shower too, that seems to work.

Lol, that's so true Xmas - we've got to keep at least some of our dignity in all of this don't we?

Kindof, that would've been really funny if you'd come back from Heron with Eliott in tow :D
Right, better get my bum back into town (day off, that's why I'm lurking so much) cos OH wants some new boots, he knackered 2 pairs in a week doing some work at Flamingo Land when it was raining the other week. He's really heavy on his clothes so no point in spending any kind of money on proper 'work' boots. Seeya.

Am v jealous of dog walking!! Haven't been allowed to walk dog for 2 months now, as although small she's v strong, and pulled me over last time I did, into the middle of the road :(
So OH has taken over that.

Mermaid - OH walks dog I just go with, Harvey is lovely but a big dog and can be quite protective around other dogs so not a safe idea me going out with him on my own!

kelinik - ya sorry I did get your point ;D

decided to iron while I wait for OH, oh life is just too exciting!
