brednall - LO is so cute well done again :D

Kelenik - Bump looks good to me and agree with xmas, your arms are fine :)

delain - yeay for hearing HB, wonder what the scan will reveal!

Jopsey - wow you have had a rough time, really hope its looking up for you now. Lucky you with the Bra from BB :D

Kindof - thats rubbish you were up again so early! Hope the pains are a good sign.

Well I actually managed a reasonable nights sleep, no rib pain so looks like the meds worked. Was up loads peeing but think I was so shattered I just fell asleep the minute I was back in bed regardless of OHs snoring lol. Could have stayed in bed longer but hips and back were starting to ache so got up and have been pottering about. few light twinges but nothing major and bubs has gone quiet again :( The thinking we would go early was def wishful thinking! OHs brother phoned last night and I answered the phone, his first words after hello were "why havent you popped that baby out yet!" guess what he got a short sharp hi, I'll pass you over to OH! My pregnancy counter has now stopped too! not sure if thats better than it going into negative no's or not!

    Brednall she is beautifull :-)

Kindoff when mine started like that i used to just get up and do stuff to keep them coming mostly used to bounce on my ball whilst watching a bit of tv then i would get my head down during the day if they eased off at all. I found going with my body and letting do what it needed meant each time they got stronger and for longer until i was in proper labour :-)

Smartie i watched it and its all true what they are saying you have to go into it in the right frame of mind my first birth was horrendous the second was better but not brill but at least i knew what to expect and with the third i breezed through until the last 20 mins where she broke my waters and swept the sack out of the way the pain of that was horrendous and because its what i class as proper pain it just wiped me out. If she had let me go natural i think i would have breezed through the whole thing with just the gas and air. i think the third was easier as A i knew what was coming B i had taken all my supplements and C i had read up on all the things that can help a natural birth ie; relaxation techniques and seeing it as your body opening up and getting the baby out rather than someing awfull i had to fight against. The most helpfull thing i did was sing i have mentioned it before it really helped me to relax through the contractions even though you feel like a wally doing it :-)

Jopsey - what an awful time you've had lately. You've coped amazingly well with it all. Emma Jane nursing bra sounds fab but it's so hard to know what size to go for without trying on.

Delain - fab news about hearing the heartbeat. Bet you can't wait for that scan!

Kelinik - love the bump pic! I don't think you look overly huge for 35 weeks. I think people just love making personal comments to pregnant women lol

brednall - Jessica is gorgeous :)

Kindof - definitely sounds as tho Elliot is getting ready to come - hope he doesnt keep you (and us lol) waiting much longer

I'm feeling quite a lot better this morning but think I made the right decision in taking today off. Just hope my boss agrees when I see her next week lol, she's off on hol this week so I just had to phone the mgr who's looking after the region while she's off and my own ast mgr. Can't believe how badly everything affects you when your pg - I've never taken a day off for a cold before!

I'm waiting to hear from my best friend, she's having her 20 week scan today but I'm not sure what time. Can't wait to hear how she gets on

I'm with you on the singing;)

I've been in awful pain in the past (with Crohns and stuff) and my "pain" songs are Relight my Fire, Take That and Lulu (especially the Lulu bit):o:o:o and Reach, S Club 7:o:o:o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I have no idea why these became my "pain" songs??:rotfl:

Seriously though I've already warned DH that I will be singing but luckily he's already been through me singing through pain so it won't be such a shock. The only problem is.... I really CANNOT sing!!

I had an awful time with DS but this time (being so much older and wiser;)) I'm going to make sure I'm going to be much more enpowered IYKWIM
I think I'll look into hypnobirthing techniques once I've had scan and know bean is ok.

Anyone out there with hypnobirthing experience???
