I'm coming up to 32 weeks on Sun and have a question about taking calcium.

It says to start taking 1000mg a day from 32 weeks.

I have calcium from Asda which is 400mg tablets. As I dont drink much milk or eat many dairy products I have been taking 800mg (rec daily allowance) every day for quite some time.

Do you think I should just keep going with this or should I take an extra one so that I'm taking 1200mg a day?

    WARNING LONG POST :D
So sorry not posted in ages but have lurked when had 5 min's , had soo much going on
Congrat's to LMF and anybody else who needs them

Don't know if anybody remembered but we seemed to have a mega run of bad luck DP broke leg ,dog died, garage got broke into ,well when we thought things where on the up my Uncle who was very close to us ,he had no children ,never married , took really poorly 3 weeks ago ,(he had lived with prostrate cancer for the last 10 years )and we all took it in turns to stay with him in hosp ,sadly he died 2 weeks ago , As our Mum's took the death really badly My cousin and myself organised funeral which was quite daunting

So hopefully things are on the up now ,I am 36 weeks and feel this pregnancy has just flown by compared to my first when I had time to feel every kick and read loads of magazines and chill out.
I swear that I wont have time to be in labour , if anybody seen the Monty python film will know what I mean where the lady with a ton of kids hanging around the house is doing the dishes when baby just slips out and she ask's one of the other kids to pick it up:rotfl:

On the good news front and with all thanks:A to this thread other wise I wouldn't have know about the following bargains , I was chuffed with my tkmaxx bargains , £1 nappies from Asda and have recieved an email tonight from bizziebaby to say I have been choosen to trial an EmmaJane nursing bra :j:j woop woop made up as know how expensive they are, just got to work out what size to order as not very big busted and am in a 38c maternity bra from M&S now ,I know you are only ment to get nursing bras measured from 38 weeks but if I leave it another 2 weeks will I miss out on bra ? or will it take more than a few weeks to come ?

Hopefully going to have a bit more time after this weekend to post ,but if not will try and bob into lurk when I ever get a few minutes ,good luck everybody who needs it xxx

I have MEGA period cramps at the front, nothing on the back, I wish I knew if they were going to go into anything!

I am now getting tired, but don't want to attempt to get back into bed, especially not with these cramps as I will wake OH

Going to see if I can nap on the sofa, don't know if these pains will let me.
