Congratulations LMF - well done to 4hrs!

Kindof, I'm jealous of your naans, what are you having for tea? Curry I'm guessing? :D

CAFC, that is so crap about your midwife. It takes me a hell of a lot of courage to speak up to, so it really must have been so upsetting for you to work up to do it and then be ignored. I hope you're able to get some more support though.

When me and OH get around to marriage, I'll change my name, but it'll be weird. I've had 'my' name for 30 years, so it would take a while to get used to (plus his is quite boring, shhh) When his older sister got married, she made her husband change his name to theirs, and double barrelled it with the middle name that their parents were originally going to double barrel for the family. OH isn't in the least bit snobby, but his family have a really strange form of snobbery going on. They don't use the word 'mum', it's either mummy or mother, when OH was about 10 they were given the choice of calling them mummy and daddy, or by their first names. Ah well, I guess we all have our quirks.

    I am bathed, finally! :D

Baby wasn't very active like she usually is when i bath. She did a few wiggles after i poked her for a while, but then went back to sleep i imagine lol.

But it was nice and relaxing :D

I tried to see if i could feel her head like my MW does, but then i got scared that i would break her neck or something if i felt wrong :o

    Hello Everyone!

How are we all? I had my 34 week midwife appointment yeserday, everything is fine, measuring 36 though! But we had a growth scan the other week an baby is fine so not worried.

Buut I getting fed up now, still feeling sick or being sick everyday! Back ache as well, get out of breath easily and tiredness!

God I sound like a right moaner, I am really happy to be pregnant after all these years and can't wait to meet baby in 4 weeks 5 days time! Gonna be a surprise as hubby doesn't want to know the gender, plus our hhospital doesn't tell you.

Still not sure on names though, keep changing our minds, think we have a shortlist though for boys and girls: Arthur, William or Benjamin ...... Astrid, Olivia or Cordelia. Middle names are sorted.

I have consultant on the 15th march to discuss c-section more and midwife in 4 weeks time!

Lol Mermaid that made me laugh - your poor mum!! I can't imagine breastfeeding much past 6 months, simply because I'll be back working in some capacity, it'd be so hard to do. Whereas I guess when we were kids it was easier because there were more SAHMs.

I know, I managed 8 months, but tbh I gave up more for nye than anything else :o

My mum did it coz she hadn't been allowed to feed my older bro, her 1st, and thought she was only having him and my sister so didn't feed either of them - because she was young and unmarried they assumed he'd be adopted so didn't even let her see him or know whether it was boy or girl, and she had NO pain relief at all!! So as he wasn't bf neither was sister, then when I turned up 14 years later she made up for them not getting any lol

I had the cheese & Chive Philidelphia on the toast. But i have terrible heartburn now. My heartburn tablets aren't helping, well tablet. I took the last one earlier. I might ask my GP for more :D

I'll have some milk and ice cream later though, have half a tub of Ben&Jerrys Phish Food left :D Om nom nom

Today i have drank 3 ltrs of water, and i'll prob manage another ltr before bed. And i bet i'll still be thirsty later. Damn sore throat!

If i could choose to not have any illness, it would be a sore throat. I can cope with colds, headaches, etc. But sore throats really get to me. Its the worst feeling ever! lol

    .

They were nommy, I am now stuffed, yes I had chicken rogan josh and rice, with naan :)

Bexta thats weird about calling them by their names

My brother just got married in July and he has changed his name to his wifes rather than the other way around, he is now Costello instead of Maine

EA I am pleased you got your bath, how many drops of that oil do I need to put in bath? and do you still put bubble bath in?

Oh I feel for beanys head all the time :) Ive been able to feel it since she has :)

Som it was gorgeous, OH didnt like it, but turns out he's never had naan before, he doesnt like curry you see, so naan and sweet and sour (which is what he had)prob isnt as nice lol, but it tasted just like it does from the shop so I was pleased, it only took like half an hour to make

Jolene I am pleased your appointment went well :) So you watch Fringe by any chance?

    I am sooooooooooooooooooooo full

I am going to have a bath soon

Your meant to put 4ish drops in, but i went a little crazxy and sometimes put 10 in... lol.
They say to mix it with milk so the oil doesn't float on top, but i didn't. When it was on top i just swished my hands around to re mix it.

And i used bubble bath to, i cant not use it lol.

When i was in the bath i reached up to the shelf thing we have an knocked off one of OH's shower gel things and it hit my nipple! Bloody hurt! lol

eta (i dont have a giant nipple btw, it was pure chance that it hit it lol)
