I think someone doesn't want me to bathe! lol.
I finally got hot water and started running it, went downstairs to have some toast and when i got back up the plug had popped out and i had justbeen running (valuable) hot water! lol.
I have burnt my hand putting the plug back in and i hope it stays in!
On a positive note, my toast was sooo good, that after the bath im going to have some more. Woman in their 3rd tri have to consume an EXTRA 200 calories a day0 -
I don't like my OH's surname but want to take it when we get married anyway - I tried to persuade him to add a couple of letters to the end so it wasn't as bad but he won't lol
Re breastfeeding - I was BF til 4and my lil bro til 3 - he got removed from it earlier than me after lifting up my mum's top in the middle of sainsbury's and screaming "I want ning ning NOW!!" - he never got it again after that and wouldn't speak to her for 2 weeks lol
I also insisted on trying it when he was born, and I was 5. Luckily I hated it :rotfl:poor mum.0 -
Congratulations LMF looking forward to your full birth story :-) x:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Thanks for the name thoughts
Going to broach it with OH tonight, think he's a bit p*ssed off with me for suddenly becoming uncertain! I suspect he'll end up being Guy in the end anyway
Lol Mermaid that made me laugh - your poor mum!! I can't imagine breastfeeding much past 6 months, simply because I'll be back working in some capacity, it'd be so hard to do. Whereas I guess when we were kids it was easier because there were more SAHMs.
Grr to the bath EA, how annoying. I want one but don't want to get up, will wait for OH to run it for me haha!
Debating whether to go out for a curry for dinner...or to eat at home, I feel too lazy to cook!Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
LMF - Congratulations! You lucky thing, apart from the being ignored bit
CAFC - I had my 16 week appointment and lightly pointed out to the student midwife, when the other had left the room, that I was feeling really low. She was enthusiastic and said I should talk to midwife about it, but I knew she'd have no time to talk about anything, so I didn't bother. It's not like they can do anything about it in your alloted two minutes a month . Go see your GP instead. Last time I had to talk to mine about feeling low, she barely asked me how I was after I stepped through the door when I just burst into tears :rotfl:, didn't really have to convince her of anything after that.
Get those babies out, ladies!:wall:0 -
Gymfiend - I could potentially start mat leave early but I'm attempting to get to the end of March so that I can put in 4.5 weeks of fulltime hols before baby comes. This will make my first 6 weeks at 90% pay better because at the moment I've dropped a day and am doing 30 hours with a day unpaid. My biggest problem is that I struggle to slow down and not do too much when I am there. I'm my own worst enemy lol
Confuzzled - my friend has suffered really badly with ms and she found the sea bands a big help. The only thing she didnt like was the way they looked when she was wearing them lolMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0
