    12. Clean bathroom

Really random Q, if baby could be born to any song, what would it be? Me & OH were discussing last night, I can't decide...I like loads of music but none seems quite appropriate for a birth :) I think I'd like Regina Spektor on if I had a choice...NB: I'm aware it's not realistic that I'll care or that this will happen, I just like to think about it :D

I'm glad he didn't come 2 minutes earlier though as it would have been Girls Aloud!

Does anyone know how easy prams/ etc can fit in the boot of a car? I am selling my car, due to it having too many faults and fixing them will cost too much. Been to look at at 2005 Astra, the boot seems suprisingly huge!Does anyone have an Astra, and if so, how does it size up with a pram? The previous owner had a baby in it when it was new, upto present day, so I am sure if they coped I could? I just don't fancy a massive car, I struggle to park my tiny car!!! :rotfl:

I have an Astra. It really depends on the size of your pram though! Most are quite big so I think you'll probably appreciate the big boot. I have this pram and the chassis of it folded up doesn't actually leave much room for anything else in the boot.

Nikki hope you get your boiler fixed today.

 im worn out just reading that list:eek:

LOL so far Ive only managed 2 of them, but ive measured the two windows in the kitchen and the door, I have found the curtains and roller blinds I want but thought I better wait for OH to be here to agree on them lol

We have 2 very big windows in kitchen and a double glazed door to outside but its always freezing in there even when the radiator is on (and its a huge radiator)

We have vertical blinds at the windows but I want some roller blinds to go on top as well, and I want to hang one curtain over the door to keep the draughts out cos we get draughts there

And in our bedroom, the bedroom is the full width of the house, so we have a window either side if that makes sense?

And last night the egg was blue (which means its too cold for beany) so I want some curtains in our room (we have vertical blinds but nothing else) which will hopefully keep the heat in bnetter than just the blinds

So ive managed to find 3 sets of curtains, 3 curtain poles and 2 roller blinds to get from argos lol Ive reserved my ball but no point going twice if OH agrees with the stuff then Ill go get it all tomorrow

I amjust looking online on argos for a cheap small computer desk

Ok I will stop boring you now lol

MGEB I know its so scary how quick its come round, although the lasst 6 weeks or so has gone sooooo slow, and I hate the not knowing when he is coming lol

    Morning :)

I had a crap weekend away:( Glad to see EA didn't go and have bean whilst I was gone;)

1more... I'm sure the scan will be fine but I know how you feel:o I have my 12 but 13 weeks scan next Tues and I already feel really nervous!

Here is a pic of my bump at 11 + 4:D I admit to normally being skinny (I struggle with keeping weight on because of Crohns:( so don't be jealous!!) so for me it is huge!! With DS I had that size bump at about 6/7 months:eek::eek:

choccie - hope your DD gets into the school she wants, thanks for the vibes :D

1more - hope the scan goes well and bubs behaves.

mgeb - hey, thanks for popping by x

Kitkat - have tried lots of diff pushchairs in Astras at work and generally they all fit no probs, just depends on how much of your boot you want left!

Kindof - woah thats a helluva list there! dont really have anything to do around our house atm other than putting doen the new rug, hence the boredom! Car does need to be cleaned tho but OH has it at work so maybe take it to Tesco after he gets back. Oh and I dont really like the idea of a 6hr turn around any more either. I did but since my stay before xmas I realised like you Id rather have the help and supoport to hand and be confident when I do go home. Oh and who's Wispa? Hope your mums scan goes ok x

Aless - I started lurking on the PT already due to boredom!

CAFC - I can understand your OH not wanting to be there, I know how squemish my OH is and have said to him I dont mind if he found it too much, but he really wants to be there for me so have told him he has to sit down next to me when the actual baby shows up. No way I want him passing out! I'd love for my Mum to be ther but like yours she is hours/miles away. Am still really hoping my ex work colleague will be around when I give birth :D The idea to have a student MW sounds good tho.

Well still have the pain under the ribs, and baby is still really quiet which Im finding a lil bit worrying, have only felt one really small movement in the last 13 hours :( hopefully she'll liven up a bit for me soon.

Thanks Sarah, I am sure the car will be fine, OH has suggested if we struggle fitting stuff in to put one of the rear seats forward. Really looking forward to changing my car, always had bright crazy colour cars (like orange, bright green, etc) so this will be my first 'normal' colour car, in silver :) very exciting!! lol. I love your pram though! I will put it on 'the list' for OH to see, even though he has told me he doesnt care what pram we have!!

Smartie, love the pic of your bump, I will have to try upload one of mine, at the moment I just think it looks like my normal belly!! Apparently at 16 weeks my baby measures 6 inches which is kinda kool!!

    Hello!

Labour vibes to all the fed up ladies :D

We spent £100 on baby stuff in tesco on saturday  but it was all half price so quite mse :rotfl:

OH is giving up smoking and what with me being all hormonal we are not getting on too well. We're like bears with sore heads atm :o we even managed to fall out over a buggy on ebay :o

EA did you enjoy your pizza the other day?
Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession :o:o
  • Nice bump Smartie!

1more - good luck for the scan!!! x

Kindof - i know it's nuts, i still thought you and EA had a while, clearly not, lol! I remember first coming by when you two were looking forward to hitting the half way mark, lol! You must be getting excited to meet the little man now though? I am and i still have 10wks left!

And Som - You too, just realised due day is litterally here! Yay! Some ICE cold water might do the trick to get her fidgeting! Just make sure it's very icy - although a big glass and you'll prob be taking trips to the loo every 5 mins - i remember those day.

    Morning all :)

Asda shop arrived with my £1 nappies so I was pleased about that.

1more? - I know how you feel. I have a week to go until my scan and I'm a nervous wreck already plus my appointment isn't until 2.30 so I know I will have a horrible morning waiting around for it. I hope bubs behaves and you manage to find out what team your on. :D

I swear my bump was bigger in first tri than it is now. I'm tall at 5ft 10 so I guess thats why I can hide it pretty well. It only seems to be on some days that I really look pregnant otherwise I just look like I've been eating all the pies. None of my jeans fit though, I'm wearing them with a hairband wrapped around the button to make them a little more stretchy hehe.

Labour vibes to all those wanting them :)
  • £1 nappies???? What did i miss????

I do the hairband thing on all of my jeans too, its a must - and primark essientials tops - the really stretchy plain long sleeve ones as they are about the only thing going over my belly these days (and they only cost £2 or £3 each). I still have off days where sometimes i'm huge (like looking ready to pop) and other days looking mildly pregnant as i put it and i'm 7 months now.
