Really random Q, if baby could be born to any song, what would it be? Me & OH were discussing last night, I can't decide...I like loads of music but none seems quite appropriate for a birth :) I think I'd like Regina Spektor on if I had a choice...NB: I'm aware it's not realistic that I'll care or that this will happen, I just like to think about it :D

My DD was born to daft punks one more time ironically. At the time I don't think I'd have wanted to do it one more time. :rotfl:

1more?- good luck, all will be well I'm sure, I think everyone is a bit nervous just before. Enjoy seeing bubs on the screen :)

Kindof- you probably won't care about your hair at the time, you will just want to get home. The hospital wouldn't even let me have a shower or a bath as there weren't enough staff, and had a last minute epidural, which didn't work for labour but left me with numb legs afterwards! grrr! So I was just left all gunky until they finally let me home the next morning, it was gross- but it took my mind off being worried about my frizzy hair! ha ha. Also if everything goes smoothly then you might get a 6 hour discharge in which case your hair would prob still be wet and you can just straighten it when you get home!

gym - I had a shower before going home, but only to hose myself off not to wash hair IYSWIM. I did take make-up and put a little on though. Kinda made me feel more human? But I was in less than 24hrs, so people staying overnight(s) might have different priorities. Finn's doing great, thanks! :D Look forward to seeing all you March ladies soon on the Parent Thread.

Does anyone know how easy prams/ etc can fit in the boot of a car? I am selling my car, due to it having too many faults and fixing them will cost too much. Been to look at at 2005 Astra, the boot seems suprisingly huge!Does anyone have an Astra, and if so, how does it size up with a pram? The previous owner had a baby in it when it was new, upto present day, so I am sure if they coped I could? I just don't fancy a massive car, I struggle to park my tiny car!!! :rotfl:

  • Errr - if you do care about greasy hair (as i did, lol) just get some Batiste Dry Shampoo - it is a lifesaver i promise. I hate the hospital showers so dip and dip out as fast as poss, the dry shampoo will let you go a few more days hairwise and you be so grateful for it. Lol, i was introduced to it by a girl on my ward about a month ago becuase i was so consious i had greasy hair (i ended up in as emergancy via ambulance - trust it to be the morning i wanted to wash my hair/shave my legs, lol) .
