mgeb - I hate those adds too! I honestly dont know why 100% but I suspect she just wants to make our lives as easy as poss, and as she will be having bubs when I return to work part time next jan doesnt fancy them herself. I know she used reusables for her first two sons and disposables for OH so I suppose she has a good idea of what she is talking about. As its not costing me a penny this way am not arguing! She also offered to pay for formula if/when we need it but am planning on BFing so hope she doesnt make a fuss.

Fair enough! Yeah i don't think i'd put it upon anyone else to have the hassle of reusables either - it's my choice, for cost and not wanting to create too much rubbish and a stinky house, lol (prob won't get away from that one). Even OH doesn't like the idea of reusables as he thinks they are too much work, i'm sure he'll come round - he's letting me do as i please this time and will just be my helping hand. With DD he stuck his nose in a lot on the decisions but then again his job was less demanding then and he was home alot more than now - and i think he trusts me now!

Oh no - it was alot more descriptive than the adverts, it was the actual RSPCA show on five. About an abandoned cat and dog - the cat had starved to death in this house. I don't like leaving my mutts for a whole day, friends are always asking us to stay over if we are there for an eveing but i refuse because the dogs will be lonely, lol!

This is the one I have and it's dead easy to fold and clip all the different bits into. Different colour though I'm sure they're exactly the same to use. That said, not had a baby in it yet!

Back to work today after a week off - I'm tiiiiiired! 13 weeks left until I'm on leave though!

Hi everyone, how are we all?

Just got back from midwife appointment. Blood pressure fine, urine fine, bub head right down and laying to the right apparently. I'm measuring 36 and half weeks at 34+4 but no surprises there so midwife has booked to come see me for my 36 week check to talk about a homebirth! :T

Aww 1more? thats a shame that you didn't get to find out. I don't think I will cope if I don't get to find out, it will drive me insane but I will have to wait and see. As long as everything is okay though thats the main thing

Just nommed cheese n ham toasties and now seriously need a chocolate hit! Nothing in the house tho Will have to get some when I go to tesco later. Just been watching Smallville, tis a slow day on mse pg thread.
