i'm hoping to keep it as long as possible without introducing solids, but i realise it may need to be earlier than 6 months, i certainly wont be giving him food next week at 12 weeks old.

The guidelines when DD was a baby were to wean at 16wks or when baby weighed 14lbs. DD was 14lbs by ten weeks and the HV told me to put her on solids then.
Can't see Kieren being weaned that early, but every baby is different and i'm sure he'll let me know when hes ready

3 - What a nasty thing for your work to do?? Definitely make sure they split it over the year, or at least the amount of wages you are going to get before you leave.....are you still leaving in the new year btw??

Yes - we're just trying to work out when is best for me to leave.

I've got them to take the overpayment back over 12 months, so not much will come out of Decembers, and I can worry about the rest when I leave. :p

We would have done it over the remaining months of the tax year so all the tax is right before the codes change again.. (just mentioning it in case they think about it again and come up with that way)
