Susan, (or anyone else who may know) The Asda glasses you were talking about the other day, 2 pairs for £90. Do you know off hand if its a condition of the offer that I need to have an eye test at Asda or can I just take my prescription along?
    Thanks

Have to admit, I'm slightly gutted (oxymoron?) that I haven't been able to do everything by the normal book and wait until six months for weaning. I feel a bit like I shouldn't have given Rhys food early (by three weeks) but then I have to remind myself I have to do these things because Rhys is Rhys and we're working to Rhys' Law now :o

My friend and I were talking about it all earlier and about how she had to (and we maybe ought to) introduce formula for the calories. I'm trying so hard not to feel like giving him formula is failing him (when I KNOW it's not!).. I didn't realise how much breastfeeding meant to me! :o

Feel like I want to "do it all properly" next time, but I have done it properly this time - just Rhys' version of properly.

Elle - you are amazing for just holding things together and getting to where you are with Rhys. Personally I think you're an inspiration. I know what you mean about the BF guilt thing, I was mortified when I gave up feeding Imogen cos she preferred the bottle, this time I have taken it easier on myself. I fed them both until 14 weeks and that's pretty good going.
OMG Sami, you have people fighting to do your washing! You are so lucky!

On the 'getting dressed' debate, I have to shower and dress in the morning. I don't necessarily wear anything smart, but I cannot just stay in my PJs or dressing gown- it makes me feel really down. I don't always wear make-up if I'm home all day or just running errands.

Feeling very pleased with myself tonight as I cooked dinner for the first time since Henry was born. Shepherd's Pie...nom, nom! It's so nice to start getting back to normal. Also my car insurer have said that I can drive as soon as I feel ready, which is great news too!

Good for you, that's a huge achievement in my book :T

For those who watch the inbetweeners this may be of some use to you http://www.zavvi.com/dvd/the-inbetweeners-series-1-and-2/10025025.html

I'm a bit down today, I was 2 days late with my af and I had hopes of being pg again and now I'm not I'm gutted. I've not gone back on the pill since LO and even though me and DH aren't really trying trying we're just letting nature take it's course so to speak.

Hugs to all those in need and hello to everyone else xx

kian is snoring away in his pram...

Krystal- another friend told me to start giving Kian baby rice at 12 weeks! she said she did this with all her kids (has 5, youngest is 9 months )

i'm hoping to keep it as long as possible without introducing solids, but i realise it may need to be earlier than 6 months, i certainly wont be giving him food next week at 12 weeks old.
