Mel - I could probably throw them down the M56 or M62 (depending on where you are)
Am currently laughing my head off @ some w@nker on Ebay - OH emailed about a DVD to check it had a Hologram cos we are collecting Disney DVD's for Jack. This was the reply
Very Sorry, I do not reply in a positive manner to someone who accuses me of selling fake DVD's. Do not bid on my item, you will be banned and reported to EBay. Regareds ????
!!!!!!?!!!! We also asked the condition of the DVD which they failed to answer - this was my reply :rotfl:
How rude! I was imply asking if the item had a hologram and what the condition was as you have failed to provide a photo or any description. You can report me all you want, I wouldn't buy off someone so rude or someone that can't even spell.
I'm such a biatch!!!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

My car insurance, incl crash happy OH as a named driver and speeding points was £250, what are you's all driving????Ooo, a link would be good thanksOh, I'll see you - oops actually I might not
OH starts work Monday - although it's only 2 hours
And boo to early 2011 - you'll have to talk OH into balancing it out with Number 4 for the end of 2012!
I didn't mind being pg in the summer - really hoping I don't get GD next time round though cos I might try and talk OH into a HB next time!
My niece is officially gonna be Poppy Rhiannon - apparently she didn't look like an Erin!
Mel - I have some Haribo!

Glam should be really naughty and PM the ebay user name so we can all nosey [strike](and bombard him with questions)[/strike]0

We would have done it over the remaining months of the tax year so all the tax is right before the codes change again..
(just mentioning it in case they think about it again and come up with that way)
That sounds far too confusing for our payroll experts! :rolleyes:redmel1621 wrote: »Oh fantastic, are you looking forward to it:p Is it Jan your OH starts his new job? I suppose it wouldn't be long after that youcould leave would it...
Are you ready for this? It confuses me - if anyone can tell me whats best for us to do i'd be grateful!
OH leaves this job 8th Jan, and starts new job 11th Jan.
OH is also paying back a massive overpayment (they overpaid him for about two years - although he phoned to tell them several times!). So from the old job, he'll get paid a weeks pay at the end of Jan (plus any spare hols etc after overpayment is taken back).
He won't get paid from new job til 16th Feb (a full month).
Normally we both get paid end of the month, and all the bills go out 1st-6th. However at the end of Jan, i'll have my reduced hours months pay (for what its worth ) and he'll have a weeks pay!
Plus - if I stay at work so that at least one of us gets paid at the end of January - we'll be paying out for nursery for January - so thats pretty much my wages!
If I leave end of December (at christmas), I won't get any pay at the end of Jan - but also won't have any nursery to pay.
Another spanner in the works, is OH's first week (possibly two) on the new job will be residential, away Mon-Fri. Getting three children to schools and nursery and myself to work will be a nightmare on my own!
Plus - we need to decide sharpish - I need to give a months notice to nursery for when V will be leaving. (The nursery she has attended for two days up to now).
Our hope is to make Christmas as :money:as possible, then we'll have a bit of savings to fall back on for the end of January.
Now is everybody as confused as we are?Sorry you asked Mel?

3, I realise this may be a stupid question, but will you get more tax credits when you're not working? Maybe factor in when you'll get more money from them?0

Hi all!
Been trying to catch up on 24 hours of thread in the quiet bits of the last couple hours in between cooking and baby-juggling etc - and I've just about managed it in time for an early night, my life is so glamorous!
Lengthy miserable waking during last night, suspect teething as very drooly, in the end in desperation I slumped on the sofa in the (freezing) living room for 45 mins with Elijah draped across my chest, til he really actually finally settled and I could put him down! Then realllllly busy work today after 4 days off last week, didn't even have time to visit the forum  !bruno, are you around this morning?
I had another idea about your HMRC thingie... If you and OH give away any money to charidee in the years in question, then you would also be entitled to tax relief on that which might offset what they're saying you owe them.
HTH
I wasn'tbut am now, and thanks again for thinking of me! It is one potential way to mitigate the pain, although my charitable contributions would need to be rather large to get me £3k of tax relief! But every little bit counts
Thanks!
r.mac very sorry about your OH's ridiculous rudeness, I hope you are managing a talk tonight which gets you somewhere
MFD, I hope you have closed the distance with your OH tonight too!
Mel, not to be a dampener but you don't sound positive to me at allI hope things are settling a bit and you can see a future in which things are not horrible and you are not too completely miserable about the way they are working out
it will probably not be all bad and you might have been quite stressed with uni during the later parts of pregnancy/early newborn times, and you may be counting your blessings when that time comes round?
I'm sorry to all the other people who deserve comments but after reading through 11 pages I forgot those comments and now go feebly to bed with a book but also an OH0 -
I think swimming has made my baby tired! He slept from 4.30pm to 7.30pm, had a bottle, 30mins in the bouncer and is asleep again now!
Hi Bruno
Bye Bruno - enjoy your book!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

hmmm definitely not simples 3!!
My guess would be enlist gma while OH is residential and you finish work at the end of feb - I'm assuming you'll get WTC towards childcare during the crossover period0
