On the whole freebies thing... I'm not averse to a good freebie... But if you're a breastfeeding mother and a packet of free formula drops through the door it can undermine the breastfeeding relationship you have. Like Susan said, if you have everyone telling you to give up and bottle feed than free formula re-inforces what everybody is saying to you... Especially if you're not very confident / have a slow grower / are having a few attachment problems...
If I were to go to a formula website and sign up with them then I would expect (and accept) freebies from them, but I specifically didn't sign up with them because I don't want any... I don't want them coming from places that take money from the highest offerer to shove them inside a magazine, a magazine that is supposed to be full of impartial information....A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Oh, I rescued my oil filled radiator back from my Mum the other day after Weezl posted her findings... Mine is an argos one... And was in immaculate as new condition.. It's come back filthy dirty, covered in paint splatters, missing the water resevoir and with a completely different plug... I'm not keen on putting it in the bedroom in that condition!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Get well soon vibes to sicky/not sleepy/teethy babies (including mine)
Hi Mel, I think you do a fabulous job and the things which have gone wrong seem to be a bit out of your control so not fair for your OH to blame you.
Feelie is still on my FB if anyone wants me to pass anything on.
Very jealous of all your meets but can't do either TC or MH and be back in time for school.
Just popping in to share the good news, Eloise is back on the chart!!!!
HV wound me up even though I went in determined not to let them get to me, instead of shouting Elllo's name she said 'Mrs Walker' which I am not, (she just doesn't know how to pronounce her name!)
She started going on about her weight as per usual then she said 'Which babymilk do you use for her?' I think I'm oversensitive cos I heard that as which formula so I said Breast (not strictly true, shes only having 1 BF a day the rest are cows milk)
Anyway I'm going to forget that and just be happy that she's back in the pink bit of the chart and I can relax a bit.MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
Millie's Mum, it doesn't matter what colour her bit of chart is as long as she's happy healthy and gaining at her own pace!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... We're giving Jo Jingles a miss today and I think I will miss it more than the children!
.
I'm hoping that we're having our colds now rather than the usual ones over christmas (she says, x-ing her fingers!).

Just for information: You can send messages to anyone on Facebook - they don't have to be your "friend".
ETA But bear in mind that depending on how someone is feeling, being flooded with messages can be just as unhelpful as not receiving any.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Just checked and Feely is not my FB friend either? Hope everything is ok.
My friend count changes all the time! :rotfl:. I lose one then gain one or two back. How does that work then?!

Afternoon all. MM, as I understood the TC people can't make you pay it all back in one go, and if it was their fault it can be written off, I got help from our MP. XXXToo many children, too little time!!!0
