I think its better if you have 2 LOs that way you're in 2 categories, I've had a nursing bra for me, a potty for Chris and teething thing for Edgar
Well I would be eligible for two of those things although they never did reply to me about the breastfeeding thing. I bet they don't believe I'm really breastfeeding at this age.

this has just made me realise that Tesco must know that I am BFing (or have a pretty good guess as I haven't bought any formula but have bought a nursing bra and millions of breast pads from them!) but I get lots of vouchers in bothe the clubcard thing and baby club thing for formula but I've never had one for breast pads.

I don't mind them giving out vouchers for formula (came in very handy when I was FFing Chris!) but it's not really fair to not give me a useful voucher now I'm BFing
I don't think I ever used any of the tesco vouchers. They were all for wipes (but I use flannels or biodegradable ones), disposable nappies (same as with wipes), special baby food (which I didn't use) or other special baby things which i didn't use.

OH has done Alice's hair in a ponytail today (it's only just long enough). It's so weird as from behind she now looks just like me when I was little -especially as the hair ribbon was mine too.

  • Morning!

Just popped on to have a minor moan about being up 4 or 5 times in the night but I see I am not the only one.

Wasn't it about a week before the full moon that all the babies were naughty/poorly last month?

I think Benjamin was cold though :( he won't stay under a blanket and his bedroom is the coldest room in the house by about 3 degrees.

Am going to buy him an oil filled radiator a la Weezl this weekend.

((HUGS)) to all - at least you have your bleary eyes at home and your babies to cuddle...

Have you tried a sleeping bag or a fleecy sleepsuit?

I just got my letter back from my tax credit appeal and they say that I definately do owe them the £715 and court action will be taken if I do not pay it within 6 weeks.
HOWEVER, they have put a very confusing explanation on the letter and when I phoned to query it, they told me I was wrong, and if I really needed it looked into again, I can write a complaint !! Well I will be writing a bl00dy complaint, and the tone that was used on the phone will also be mentioned !!

He does have a sleeping bag, and it is quite a high tog one....but his hands get cold and I just think he wakes more (or at least wakes me more) when his room is colder.

It was 16 degrees in his room overnight, which is supposed to be within the realms of a normal 'safe' temperature...but it felt freezing when I went in to get him :(

He seems to get all sweaty in the fleecy sleepsuits so we stopped using them.

MM - sounds like a nightmare! Get your best complaint writing head on...but start saving too...just in case :(

Susan - I think it's lovely that Alice looks like you (and lucky her, you look very pretty on the photos I've seen)

MFD - maybe you can sneak a nap at lunch?

MM - oh noooo! have you looked at Martin's advice on challenging/complaing to TCs?

We had no sleep here either everyone's fault though  I had to stay up until the washer was done because OH ran out of clean work stuff but only realised just before bed! then about 10mins after I got in bed Ed wanted fed so it was about 2:30 when I got to sleep then Chris was up at 5am, Ed at 7am then all of us at 9am. I had to prise my eyes open

*blushes* (BTW when I said weird I didn't mean in a bad way.)

I actually look really like my mum. So much so that I used to get complete strangers asking me if I was any relation to her.

    How about arm warmers then?

 Lunch is my catching up on MSE time - missing that would cause me another sleepless night ;)

LOL! I couldn't imagine him keeping anything on! He is a very active sleeper!

Weezl did a cost benefit analysis of buying an oil filled radiator as opposed to putting your heating on and concluded that it was a cost effective solution to heat up a small part of the house.

Can't remember where the cheapest one was though Weezl? I have Argos in my head...
