Yes I have - I enjoyed it but it did have some strange bits in it. Have you seen Malcolm X? I don't know if it's weird but I am very interested in stuff to do with racial segregation partly because it features in my family history.
I don't think I've seen that one, will have to find it.

Thanks - I had no idea you got such a thing. LO is also obsessed with our loos. She discovered the lid the otherday and thankfully I was there to avert disaster. What on earth do the locks look like/work?

we've put lock on two cupboards in the kitchen and cleared everything else out of the way - yet she still finds things to get into! :rotfl:

I have just bought LO the 9month plus - it is the maxi cosi tobi. We looked at several, but because she is quite slim built this one seemed to suit her best. It is also well padded for when she first uses it, unlike some of the other ones we tried - you could have got violet and Annabel in some of them together :rotfl: I bought it from boots as there was 20% off and double points and as I bought is over the christmas weekend online offers I ended up getting the seat for £162, free delivery and £47 of points as well. I was very pleased. HTH
the ikea universal locks can be used on the loo, there are 2 types on that is a big arm that you swing across to stop the lid being able to be lifted, other is a strap that is attached to bowl and lid.
We have the Tobi too, I recommend getting the summer cover for it as it's easier to clean as well as the other reasons for getting it, what colour did you get?

    hi ladies,

Just a quick question , went for a scan today for growth as was measuring 23 weeks ,the sonographer said everything looked within the guidelines , i am just worried about hes FL measurement as its the only measurement which is at the bottom line , can anyone help me if they had a similar problem with there little one , i am worried he may have a problem even though sonographer said everything was fine ,, have consultant monday

    bpd : 66.5 mm
    hc 243.7mm
    ac 212.8 mm
    FL 46.5 mm
    The fl is my worry
don't worry, if the sonographer says it's normal it is :D
Edgar's scan at around 30 wks showed measurements that varied by up to 6 wks worth - some 2wks less than actual gestation, some 4 wks more

She knows what blood is though, and totally bellows it out when you cut yourself. "YOU GOT BLOOD MUM? LEMMIE SEE? AWWW POOR MUMMY, YOU GOT A SORE FINGER? OH NO NO DON'T TOUCH THE BLOOD MUM!"

hi there. I'm ashamed to say those numbers and letter mean nothing to me!:rotfl::o When I had my scan we didn't get given any information other than the baby has two arms, two legs, is a fine size and seems to be fine.
You don't get those things on normal scans - just on special growth scans.
I think BPD is something diameter, HC is head circumference, can't remember AC but maybe another circumference and FL is fenur length. With mine they then used some of the figures to calculate an estimated foetal weight and plotted it on a foetal weight growth chart.

I keep getting phone calls from an automated service saying 'This is not a sales call, did you know you can save money on your phone calls......'
Always put it down at this point but wish they'd give up - rang at 8pm when I was settling Jack & the phone is in our room

Are you not on Telephone Preference Service? If you are and are still getting calls then take down details of the company and report them.

You can get generic child locks which are quite big, and the picture on the pack shows them being used on a freezer door and a toilet seat. Don't know if you can get specific loo seat ones too. Turns out the adhesive doesn't stick to porcelain so no good. i will have to look out for another solution.

Now must go off for a little trip to the bottle bank and the post box before someone is ready for her trip.

BM, I was getting those calls, from the same company till I said that I would take out a ten grand loan and then they could arrange it so that I didn't have to pay it back because I needed to convert my loft.

Nikkit, everybody has different proportions, and the scan measurements can be out by quite a bit as it relies on human judgement to measure.

MM, I'm feeling generally cruddy, just hoping it is simply tiredness and not swine flu. Mainly my head.

Although I'm still looking forward to DH getting home so I can go to asda and get some peace.

lol - black reflection - everything we have is black. It started with my need/want/desire for a black pram as we didn't know what sex LO would be......even though I have tried to buy pink covers etc, I always end up with black big items and white covers/sheets etc. Just as well as everything everyone else buys her is pink! :p:o

I keep saying we aren't having more, but the mse side of me thinks that black is suitable just in case we ever had a boy......:rotfl::eek::D
