Aimee's playing on the floor with Caitlyn, it's lovely... :)

We have the worlds biggest nappy malfunction this morning... Straight through 4 layers of clothes right nearly up to her hair! It just happened to co-incide with when my Uncle had finished fixing the bath tap so she she got to test it out first! I really couldn't believe it... It was that bad I had to take a pic on my mobile and send it to hubby!

And on the whole bath tap thing... Turns out, some bodge it hadn't fixed the taps to the bath properly so for the last 8 1/2 years, everytime I turned the tap on or off it was wearing down the joins in the pipework until on Wednesday it just gave up completely and came dripping through the kitchen ceiling... Thankfully though, my Aunt saw my facebook status and called me to chat about it... Then she mentioned our dilema to my uncle and he offered to come and have a look... There was nothing to be done with it Wednesday but he capped off the pipe to stop it leaking in the mean time and came back today with new taps and fitted them... I'm eternally grateful, he save me a fortune in plumber call out fees... and considering they live 40 miles away it's very kind him to come over!

Oh, and about the kitchen ceiling... It would appear that when my insurance renewed last year they stuck a sneaky 'additional £250 excess for damage caused by escaping water' So that would be £350 before they've even assessed the damage  as it happens... I'm due for renewal next week... I've managed to get cheaper insurance with no added excess, free contents, protected no claims, additional emergency call out cover and £70 cash back through quidco... I might leave it a short while before I do anything about the kitchen ceiling...

sami - I approve the dress too :D It's particularly nice for a brest feeding one too :D

I am not aware of having seen feelie today - hope you are alright sweetie.

LO is running around in her walker and has pulled a book from the bookcase on her travels - it's a road map of South Africa! She's studying it intently as if it's going to direct her somewhere important :D Too cute!

Saying that I am looking forward to bathtime tongiht - she's rather under-napped today and so I'm bringing it forward, but can't really make it any earlier than 6pm. Only 20 mins to go :D

I understand on the undernapping r.mac... Caitlyn's only had 3 20min naps the past couple of days... I don't understand it, she's usually good for a couple of hours in the afternoons... And it's making her very cranky in the evenings... I went out for dinner last night and she cried for an hour and half for hubby... He was not pleased... We had words when I got back... It was all my fault, obviously...

Thank god for BB I spotted the site when Becky posted it on facebook, there's some lovely stuff and not too expensive.

Feelie has been VERY busy farming on facebook today :D I've 'spoken' to her a few times while trying to nab a golden egg :rotfl:

I wonder if Annabel is thinking of starting a vineyard in SA ;)

Tink - please do visit us more :) will it be hard for OH to get a new job do you think?

Sami - Believe me I'm going to try I miss keeping up with you all and I do find myself saying to DH oh I wonder what's so and so up to :o

He's looking to start his own business which will be great if he can get it off the ground but he's never been the businessey type so I think I may have to set it up, get everything in place and he then does the jobs I give him IYKWIM but that's not ideal in my mind especially as I'm going back full time in the new year, but then you never know he may surprise me. He's going on a load of business courses next week so homepfully that will clarify everything he needs to do.

Also, as I haven't been on for ages I can't help but showing off my little one. I can't believe how much she's come on.

Beenie, we have the basic Graco Mirage TS and I got the base unit for the car, the number of times Andrew is in and out for hospital appointments, I couldn't be bothered re-fitting the seatbelts around the car seat each time. It makes it really simple to click and go.

Nikki, Andrew had a short FL compared to the rest of his measurements but it turned out not to be indicative of anything, and in fact our Clinician said he's seen a good number of short FL measurements in small babies (IUGR) which turned out not to be anything other than short legs!

Elle - Welcome back hun, and I'm glad you've managed to freeze some EBM, must be the reduced stress levels from your holiday!

Andrew says that the Magic Fairy Delivery arrived a couple of days ago and apologies that his Mum didn't post a thanks when it arrived.

Has anyone heard from Feely today? eta - Just read Sami's post!

I see someone else indulged in the Asda CIN babygro ;)

We got one because a) it was ISOfix so I was less worried about it being not fitted correctly and b) without it we would have had to unstrap the carseat from the car every time we used it to put Alice in and out of it.

 Alice was in her first carseat for nine months and she was only just heavy enough to be allowed to move up then (and she was on the 75th centile).

This one isnt Isofixk, well the woman in Mothercare didnt say it was.

OH just told me that Henry was actually 10 months old.
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

Aimee used to do that MM... She used to like to suck her fist but extend her fingers so she gagged on them...

I got my tesco baby club booklet today, it came with a free sample of Farleys Nurture and £1 off a tin of the same if anybody wants them, I'm sure my fairies can put them in an envelope...
