hi caz - congratulations on loosing 2 stone! That's impressive
LO now gets 1 6oz bottle, breakfast, lunch, afternoon 6oz bottle, tea and then bedtime 8oz bottle. She doesn't always drink all the milk. She doesn't have a huge appetite and as she's not well just now, it's even less. Lunch was half a yogurt! SO long as shes taking her fluids I'm not too worried for the moment. I think they recommend 600-800ml of milk per day for Erins age, but that can also be made up by counting the milk in porridge, yogurts, custard etc.
HTH
thanks erin is on 6 x 8oz bottles, has a few spoonfulls of my fruit and fibre breakfast then whatever i can get in her at lunch and dinner. HV said to cut her down to 3 bottles and then she will have to eatshe like yoghurts and custard and has now started to take the ellas kitchen and plum pouches but only if she holds them and sooks the food out :rotfl:
We have 4 6oz a day (occasionally 5).
First thing in the morning, mid morning, mid afternoon and bed.
I'm thinking we might drop one next week when she starts nursery. They get breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch then afternoon snack - i'm not sure she'll fit a couple of bottles in too!
Thats how it ended for us. We had a few weeks of morning and night boobie - but she eventually lost interest. I was quite happy to get my boobies back but was sad last week when she was full of cold and i didn't have the instant fix-all remedy!Caz - wow welldone! glad the HV realises the CPN was a cow
can I ask while ur here, do you have the sleeping bag/cosy toes thing for the P&T? if you do is it any good? What's for you won't go past you0 -
caz, Dylan is on 9oz bottles !!! He is cuddly, but not an overly chunky baby!!
I am thinking about trying to wean him from next week, he has had a milk rusk, baby rice and a petit filous once each and wasnt keen on any of them, but he is nearly 6 months ...
Big thing is though, he still cant hold his own head unaided for very long without flopping forwards, so will have to do it with him in the bouncer. The two best things I have done with my life

Caz, if she's happy with the amount of milk she has then I wouldn't worry at the minute... Before 12 months, food is just for the taste than the calories... They get all their calories from their milk until they are a year old...
I took Caitlyn to the clinic yesterday... There are no health visitors there now, just nursery nurses... She told me that if I didn't wean Caitlyn next week when she's exactly 6 months then she'll be a fussy eater... I'd like to know when she did her degree in child nutrition and psychology!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Elliot would not have been happy without food when he was 6 months lol-he's always loved his food. He likes his milk-but prefers food
Might be different because he was formula fed though?
He's enjoyed a turkey/xmas dinner today including his veg (good boy!)
I'm having a few hours 'off' tomorrowYay!

not too bad, just v stiff arm, but I think that's cos my arm was locked out in front of me with holding the buggy for the 2.5 mile walk home! (must change surgery.... but I REALLY like my Midwife)
