harley - as mel says they're fine in the dishwasher :) they don't melt into a mess in the steriliser just become mis-shaped and therefore useless

eta do you have liquid milton? that is easier to make up in smaller quantity but you can break up the tablets with a sharp knife too

Jam, my boy sometimes cries painfully and wriggles about uncomfortably when he needs to 'code brown' but its not coming, its always soft tho and regular so hes not constipated.
What always works for him is to stick him in his bouncer on vibrate and this seems to soothe him and shake something loose. Works every time which is why the bouncer is now referred to as the 'jobby seat'!!

    Love it!

Jack only poos every other day - you can always tell when one's coming because he's grumpy and does really smelly trumps

SM, I was £800 up last month. Frightened the life out of me, even got the bank to go through and double check everything with me. The only thing I hadn't paid was the council tax and that was cos I was in hospital having Kezia and forgot. Though I think it was being in hospital and not going anywhere that stopped me spending.

I think it just goes to prove how much I was wasting before. Hopefully it is a lesson learned for me and I will be able to manage in a couple of weeks when I drop to half pay. It has now been put aside as a cushion for when I drop to just Maternity pay.

I suggest you put it to one side until you get your next lot of money. If it still hasn't been used for anything and nothing needing it has come to light then you should treat yourself. I know you deserve it. xxxxx

Amazing how little you spend isnt it?
If I hadn't bought the cot mattress and jumperoo last month I'd have had an extra £120 but OH needs to give me some of mattress money and my mum wants to put money towards Jumperoo.

I put £10 in my car yesterday so will be interesting to see how long it lasts!

Mel - forgot to say last night, I'm in Warrington. I thought you knew that from the pg thread.

Sami - kids hey? They know when to pick their moments - Jack started grizzling the other night while OH and I were  but soon settled down!

Mel, the avent teats also fit into avent magic cups... There's no measurements on like a bottle, but you get much longer use out of them... I still have aimee's in the cupboard...

oh been meaning to ask for a while now (but doubt those currently online can add much lol)
Cleaning the potty, what do you do?

I've just been rinsing it out and wiping with loo roll when #1, after #2 I also spray wth antibac. is that overkill or normal?

Glam - have you spoken to the surgery? I got told off for not taking Edgar in when he had a similar sounding reaction :o

    Nope :o

Due to the lack of info they gave me, they didn't say the circumstances when I should. Poxy leaflet does say could get a lump but nowt about redness.

I have 2 nurses that I can text so will see what they say - he's fine now and leg is no longer red.

as for potty - sounds OK to me!

If you're happy to do that Sami then that's fine... I used to just swill after a number 1, no drying... And give it a wipe around with a dettol wipe after a number 2... Although towards the end it was probably just a wipe with loo roll and a swill...
