    Hi all

I'm still catching up from last night but I've got another question I'm afraid. Kezia has just woke up and when I went to change her she had a dry nappy. Last changed her about 12.30am. She's 6 weeks old and this is most unusual. How long should I leave it before I start to worry?

    Thanks

I would personally struggle to take an odd number :o so would be aiming for either 12 or 14 (he normally wears 4 or 5 a day).
this made me giggle, I don't mind odd numbers ending in 5 but if 17 were to be suggested  *runs for the hills*

still gutted its over, i'd been looking forward to that pretty much since i started maternity leave, and now its done with and i have to work next week  what do i have to look forward to now? apart from smelly customers handing me greasy glasses covered in skin cells and hairs that have gone green with sweat, and wearing a lilac polyester uniform?

    night all xx
oh but your job sounds so sexy! :D start looking for another job now and pray you get one soon?

He was measuring bang on for dates, with a week larger on the head circumference, eep:eek::D.

That's a vey lovely thought elle, but please don't hang on to anything for me, it's only an increased possibility he'll be little so I'd rather Rhys's things went to little boys who definately need them IYSWIM?

I'm ever so touched though :A:)

As well as the scan, we went to see my friend who's got a 3 week old yesterday. Oh my word newborns are so little! And light! I picked her up and it was like I was throwing her up in the air compared with the force required to lift Fergie up!

Jillie, you asked about names... DH likes Kester and Rufus and Cadmus...I suggested Felix, but we thought it maybe sounded like we were having a kitten :rotfl: I also suggested Bruno (cos I know Brunos and Ferguses make good brothers ;)) but DH said 'We're not posh enough sweetie'. Pah!

I've been up since 3.30. Fergie had a little coughing fit and then my preg insomnia wouldn't let me settle down.

My mum is looking after Fergie while I see clients tomorrow, so I need to be able to function, hope I can

hello helen81, welcome to the gang :)

is crazy how soon you forget, I made the MWs re-weigh Edgar because I couldn't believe he was so big :p - he felt as light as air!

I LOVE both Rufus and Felix!!! I chose the name Rufus for FIL's cat and one of the contractors I looked after a work was a Felix - he was my fave, so lovely and polite. I had it on my names list but OH vetoed :(

What are your feelings on welsh names? I like Rhodary (sp?)

  • Harley - I would call the doc or NHS direct, not in a panic but to ask when you need to start to worry.

    Is Bruno posh

    How about Jeremiah? Or Noah?

Am kind liking Rufus but me no-really-likey the two 'us' names together much :o unless you want your family to rhyme....

....just realised how stoopid that is when I have a Ken and Ben :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Maybe that is why we call him Benjamin all the time ;):D

    Hi all

I posted occasionally on the preg thread but just can't find the time these days. I do try to keep up though!

Charlotte was born on 16th Sept (same as Jillies Kian) and its lovely to read how both Kian and Glams Jack are getting on as it helps me feel we are doing ok as we are all having similar probs/celebrations. Our jabs are next week though so fingers croosed they go ok.

Charley has had some problems with colic so I have been giving her gripe water (we found it worked much better than Infacol Glam). However, I am not sure that is the problem. Take yesterday for example, she started crying/screaming at 3pm and didn't finish until 8pm. What I have noticed though is she seems to scream when she needs to trump and/or fill her nappy (she had three dirty ones in yesterdays episode). It's not every time, perhaps three or four times a week. She is still BF and I'm not sure if its something I eat (fruit I suspect hence I eat it rarely) or another problem. I had her at the doc's two weeks ago and he said it was colic and I will ask again next week when we go for jabs.

Has anyone else had anything like this? Her poo (TMI) is still yellow and very runny so not constipated (I don't think )

I feel awful just posting for help but hugs to everyone and congrats weezl on team blue!

PS The crying never happens at night. She tends to sleep from 11pm til 4, then half 4 til 6 then 6 til 8. Last night she went from 10 til 6 with no feed (this has happens three times randomly over the last ten days)

Thank you for any thoughts xxx

    ooh MFD you hypocrite :p;)
my basic rules in principle were, no rhyming and no starting with the same letter but some times you just like a name that breaks the rules but doing it a 3rd or more time is wrong IMO :) Like my friend who is one of 3 - Christian, Fabian and Julian or the Duggars in America
18 Kids and Counting (formerly 17 Kids and Counting) is a reality television show produced in the United States by Figure 8 Films about the Duggar family, which consists of parents Jim Bob and Michelle and their 18 children. The eight girls and ten boys[1][2][3][4] all have names starting with the letter "J".[1] The children's names are (in birth order) as follows: Josh, Jana, John-David, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy Anna, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, and Jordyn-Grace. The show airs on TLC.
