I don't do odd numbers either!
SS, glad to hear hubby's doing well and there's no need for surgery!
Weezl, well done on team blueif you want a squeeze of a pink one, there's one here you're always welcome to squeeze and hand back... I hear girls are harder once they can argue back
I love my maclaren, I don't care what anyone says... All umbrella fold buggies have a similar hinge and no safety concious parent would fold / unfold one whilst a small child was poking their hands around... Common sense says there's going to be moving parts and appendages could become trapped...
I'm going to sleep now... Between a snoring hubby and a snoring baby... Wish me luck!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

(I was at my Mum's getting fed too!)
Glad you got there safeAre you staying indefinitely? Do the docs all know you're away from home in case they want to get in touch with good news of some appointments for you?

any closet BSB fans may want to look at these
still gutted its over, i'd been looking forward to that pretty much since i started maternity leave, and now its done with and i have to work next week  what do i have to look forward to now? apart from smelly customers handing me greasy glasses covered in skin cells and hairs that have gone green with sweat, and wearing a lilac polyester uniform?

Evening all
Weezl, is mini weezl v2.0 looking big, small or average? Would you like some of the 7.5lb size bits I have in readiness in case he comes early? I've already given some to Rhys' room buddie, but I know there are still some vests here and possibly some sleepsuits (and will be some tshirts once Rhys finally grows out of them)
He was measuring bang on for dates, with a week larger on the head circumference, eep:eek::D.
That's a vey lovely thought elle, but please don't hang on to anything for me, it's only an increased possibility he'll be little so I'd rather Rhys's things went to little boys who definately need them IYSWIM?
I'm ever so touched though :A:)
As well as the scan, we went to see my friend who's got a 3 week old yesterday. Oh my word newborns are so little! And light! I picked her up and it was like I was throwing her up in the air compared with the force required to lift Fergie up!
Jillie, you asked about names... DH likes Kester and Rufus and Cadmus...I suggested Felix, but we thought it maybe sounded like we were having a kitten :rotfl: I also suggested Bruno (cos I know Brunos and Ferguses make good brothers) but DH said 'We're not posh enough sweetie'. Pah!
I've been up since 3.30. Fergie had a little coughing fit and then my preg insomnia wouldn't let me settle down.
My mum is looking after Fergie while I see clients tomorrow, so I need to be able to function, hope I can
hello helen81, welcome to the gang

Oh Weezl, your insomnia really has kicked in hasn't it, you poor thing
Where were SM and MM last night? It all went quite quiet after I went to bed so haven't had much to catch up on this morning.
After posting that I thought we were in for a bad night, I was proved wrong and we had a sleeping baby all night. Although we heard her stir a couple of times over the monitor, we didn't have to go into her at all, so an amazing night compared to the past three nights
Plans for today. Hmmm, cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning I think
It's DH's 30th a week on Monday. The celebrations are on Sunday and we've got people staying from Sunday-Monday so want to do a proper clean this week and then can just do a touch-up clean next week. When he comes home from work, he always asks if Caitlin and I have had a nice day and what we've been up to. The past week or so I've had to give really vague answers as I've been trying to sort out a DVD slideshow of photos of his life (which has involved getting photos from his friends and family and trying to scan them in secret), ordering a cake and ordering presents. Seeing as the house is about the same state as when he leaves this morning, I'm sure he thinks I'm just talking to you lot all day when in fact, I've been so busy I've barely been on here!0 -

How is Cadmus pronounced Weezl? I know a little boy called Cadhan but it's pronounced Kai-an, so was wondering if Cadmus is Kai-mus?
I used to babysit a little boy called Rufus (many moons ago) and he was the sweetest little thing, so I love that name0 -
Millie's mum - I would get vouchers for a hotel chain and let SIL pick where she goes and when she goes.
Em - am loving the BSB photos!!!0 -

If it is any help (I am sure it is not) I am named after Giordano Bruno, the 16th century Italian monk and philosopher who was burned at the stake for claiming things like "the earth goes round the sun" and "there may not be a single all-powerful god" and so forth.
I like Rufus!
I am shattered, early meeting at work with very senior guy, but Elijah chose to wake up very upset at 3.10. I comforted him and put him down 3 times in the next 25 mins - he would be apparently asleep on shoulder but kick off violently as soon as he hit the cot. Then I let him cry for 15 mins to see if he calmed himself down at all. Then I put him in bed with OH for BF. Then I put him back in bed and settled him. Then 30 mins later I went back and settled him again. Ugh. On the upside he is still sleeping now.0
