  • I'm so upset,angry p'd off (take your pick)

My manager finally got back to me about my return to work, well I'd asked for 9-4, Monday-Thursday, and I can't have it  The only day she can offer is a Tuesday and I have to work 9-5. It takes me over an hour to get home due to public transport and if I work until 5pm it'll be more or less time to put him to bed when I get in. I didn't have a child to not see him , plus Tuesday is just a random day to have off, so it looks like I'll be seaqrching for another job. Most probably evenings and weekends :o so me and hubby will never see each other.

Sometimes I wish I wasn't such a mardy bum and didn't get so upset.

Em I got a sorry your tesco order will be late txt but the 'new' pick up time they gave was the same as when I originally ordered :rotfl:

Same here, still this afternoon after 4pm. Going tomorrow though. Have already put the idea in FIL's head that we have bargain toys they can buy off us.. instead of something pointless/too old/too young/wrong/not what *I* want... etc etc *ungrateful grumble grumble* :p

Rhys is in his crib. Not asleep, just shrieking at his toys. He was asleep when I put him down.. Aim is to put him down at 11am and 3pm and see what he does :o

ETA: Oh, Tesco just phoned - my order is in store now :D

Sami - the cutters were been giving out by the greeter at the door in W'Brook. Although, there was a sign outside with times and dates that they would be giving them out but this wasn't one of those times.
I'll nip in tomorrow and see if I can get another one and give it to you on Monday if you're going and can't get one at your ASDA.

I made chocolate biscuits which have gone down a treat!

Gonna make scones again later - I'm liking this baking lark!

Dora - that's pretty crap. I;m not sure whether it's a good thing I have a new job to go back to or not - they don't have to agree my flexible working but then as it's full time I'll probably want to do 8-4 every day which isn't unreasonable.

Elle - MIL let me pick all of Jack's pressies off her so that he didn't get stuff 'I' didn't want!

I work for an insurance company, to cut a long story short when you go in a lift, up an escalator or see someone using a peice of machinery(digger, crane or such like) one of our surveyors has checked that it's safe to be used. I make sure that all items are up-to-date and if an insured wants a copy of their insurane certificate I get it to them.

Did I tell you all that I got called a Weena by someone on Ebay? :rotfl:

They wanted to buy an item for £3.50 and asked for a buy it now, I asked them if they meant £30.50 as there is no way it is worth £3.50!!!
