many thanks elle I always appreciate any research you're willing to do, I know you have a lot on :A.

I will happily come and tell you all if we're team pink or blue:D (I am wishing myself a few pink vibes, but blue will be more MSE- tho DH says, nothing wrong with a girl wearing blue :))

Eeekkk.. my "a lot on" just consisted of stripping Rhys.. Just had a nasty poop incident which made it out the top of the nappy, through the vest, the sleepsuit, into the sleeping bag, and through the otherside (it's a very padded 2.5tog one!)... OMG!! Think I'll leave him in just a nappy for a while incase there's more! _pale_

morning - I have a couple of questions. BTW - LO just turned 9 months :D

do you feed you child finger food from a bowl/plate/recepticle? we have a tripp trapp highchair so no tray, but put the food on the wipe clean table cloth on the table. any crockery usually gets upended very soon into the feeding process so I stopped bothering - should I be reintroducing them again?

Milk feeds in the afternoon. I want to switch these to a beaker. Should I use the same one I use for water, or something else? Any tips?

    Thanks

    elle, are you around?

Is there a quick calculator online that will help me work out the approx cost to an organisation of having an employee (over and above their gross salary) that encompasses stuff like pension, NI, training, Employee assistance programmes, having a HR dept to look after them, cost of payroll admin time to have them etc...?

I'd be very grateful if you know anything about that :A:D

Do I detect that there is business plans flying around the air at the moment. I may be doing a similar thing at r.mac towers (business planning that is!)

  • Eek, I have a dilema... My friend from the church office just called me to say there's been a cancelation at the next dedication service, which was our original preferred choice... But it's a week on Sunday... Hubby thinks it's too short notice but the next one isn't until may, and both my parents have holidays booked in may so there's a chance that one or both of them won't be there...

I recon we could do a ring round of people and see who would be willing to travel down from Liverpool for the day, I know my lot will come, they generally get together for family events but hubby's family are a whole different kettle of fish... Half of them didn't even bother to come to the wedding with 4 months notice... What do you think? Am I being unreasonable?

  • Poor Benjamin, do you think it's teething or seperation anxiety? Well done on still getting to swimming though! Wish our surestart did cheap swimming lessons... Although we wouldn't of been anywhere for 9am, we're having skin to skin in bed this morning :D

He's going to be in hospital a week, and probably two or three.

And needless to say, he doesn't have insurance so it's going to be expensive. My boss knows about him, and so does the chief of gastroenterology, but we'll still be paying something and it's going to be a lot.

Edit before I go to bed:

Thanks for good wishes, and good luck to MM.
eep! We'll keep him in our prayers xx
I'm now scared because my mum has got a lump of fluid behind her hernia scar that 'they' don't really now what it is at the mo

I'm going to Les Mis on new years eve. Exciting :) Hope my bump is ok sitting still for 3 and a half hrs :o:D

The childish angry thing I did once was to an ex lodger who told DH and I that she couldn't afford her rent, and would either move out or pay half rent for 3 months and then resume normal payments. We agreed since we'd be getting no rent if she moved out and didn't want to make life hard for a poor person.

The next saturday she came home with 7 shopping bags of clothes from the high street.

I waited til her next warm shower was underway. I did the washing up, fitfully, accompanied by little squeaks of '...omething wrong ith the water!' 'ooooh that ...looody cold!'.

    Bad weezl x
    :T cheeky weezl :D (I'd have done worse :o:p)

Where abouts in store were the cutters? are they in he baking aisle?

I can't do les mis without crying at a certain song

itouch/iphone users I have discovered a handy FREE app called iCompare wich quickly tells you price per gram/nappy/kg etc :D
