we take it in turns I think! Current solution is me in the back spare room alone while DH stays in our room with Fergie's monitor. This is because DH couldn't handle being woken up by both of us, and decided he'd sort fergie out :)

poor you that DH woke baby :( when are you thinking she'll go into her own room?
That's good of DH, at least it means you're not disturbed more than neccessary through the night :) (nothing wakes my hubby, not me when pregnant, not the baby in the night... In fact, in the dentist last week I walked into the waiting room to hear him tell 2 old ladies that "once she goes to sleep at night, that's it until the morning" After I'd picked myself up off the floor, I told him that just because he sleeps through doesn't mean the rest of us do!)

We don't actually have a room for Caitlyn to go into, she'll be sharing with Aimee... The current plan is to have her in with us until she is competently sleeping through the night (I'm expecting this will be after the worst bit of teething so probably around 18m) then she'll go in with Aimee... Unless divine intervention happens and we're moved house...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Aww Keely, that's lovely :)

Caitlyn's new skill is chewing on her big toe when lying with no nappy on... She's shouting at me now from the floor so best go and sort her out!

As ever when in a position of feeling helpless about a friend, I don't know what to say. Big hugs. xxx

I think the english is acute necrotising pancreatitis.

    Thanks lovely :)

Suicidal pancreas sounds just as bad in a totally different way.
Oh SS, have some ((hugs)) from me too... Don't have anything constructive to offer... Except... Could they maybe whip out a kidney to flog while they're in there? Might help towards the bill?

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Sadly his kidneys are a mess as a result of all the hormones percolating around his system.

He now has a bed in a room with space for two people, the other being an old mumbly man. He's getting further scans today and they'll insert a tube to drain out all the crap. He'll be heavily monitored to make sure nothing untoward happens. I'm so worried.

    elle, are you around?

Is there a quick calculator online that will help me work out the approx cost to an organisation of having an employee (over and above their gross salary) that encompasses stuff like pension, NI, training, Employee assistance programmes, having a HR dept to look after them, cost of payroll admin time to have them etc...?

I'd be very grateful if you know anything about that :A:D

Hmm.. afraid I don't know of anything online. The powers that be were just talking about us working this out for them when I left but I doubt anything's been done about it yet (nothing to do with me, just that they've had a lot else on and this is the kind of thing that falls by the wayside until the CEO jumps up and down ;)). Will have a look around for you though on the usual websites I'd use.. :)

many thanks elle I always appreciate any research you're willing to do, I know you have a lot on :A.

I will happily come and tell you all if we're team pink or blue:D (I am wishing myself a few pink vibes, but blue will be more MSE- tho DH says, nothing wrong with a girl wearing blue :))
