Gosh I'm dressed like a right minger today, will totally fit in with the crowd at nursery today.

How's this, baggy jeans, flip flops (lol), black vest, yellow hoody, raggy old belt, messy unbrushed slight greasy hair.

What a catch I am. Don't see the point in washing my hair though cause we are going to that party tonight (Keira too, not OH) and I'd need to wash it again later and OH or Keira knocked my shampoo over so only got enough left for one wash.

It's pan tene pro V volumising, MAXIMISE THE THINNESS PEOPLES!

I always wash my hair in the morning if I'm going out on the night... Otherwise I can't do a thing with it... I also always have about 3 or 4 different shampoos lying about the bathroom lol...

More than enough SM, I don't spend that much on other people... Just my own children... ;)

  • OH is more agreable about getting some help, I'm getting a cleaner for a couple of hours a week, and I'm trying to find a Nanny for 3 hours a week.

Does anyone know when I'm no longer contagious? LO seems fine, just snuffly and not wanting solids, but not too grumpy and not in pain. OH hasn't caught it either, but thinks he may have had it ages ago. I went on the Swine Flu website, but it didn't give me what I want (sympathy, not drugs!).

Hope everyone is well and that babies are all doing good :)

Talking of breastfeeding support, I sent an email to all the local clinics held at surestart centres, asking if I could go despite being out of catchment, but had no reply. I'll take that to mean I'm not welcome! HV did say that while I was pregnant, but said if I do have PND they should hopefully help. Homestart coming to see me in a week though. HV still not been in contact to ask how I am, after sending her an email saying I wanted LO adopted.

Hi Feelie. I'm glad things are moving in the right direction for you :) Have you been able o talk to DH a bit now? Sounds like he is being a bit more supportive anyway, so that is good :)

Oh, and re surestart, I'd just go anyway if it were me - they are hardly going to escort you from the building when you are actually there ;)

Em, if it comes to it, make sure you go to citizens advice. But I'm sure you know that anyway! It might be you can find a surveyor to come round and state why it is damp and what should be done to solve the problem? Not something you want to pay for though.

I have a poorly baby... She settled herself off easily enough last night but about 10mins later woke herself up again coughing.... I ended up putting her between us in bed, but then I was frozen because she still had her sleeping bag on and the quilt was all on hubbys side of the bed... My lovely hubby let us sleep in this morning until 11:25

She sounds worse today though, really grunty with her breathing and the sore throat / sore cough... And a bit of a temperature... Administered half a spoon of medinol and called the Drs... I have to take my poorly 5 month old baby and sit with all the sick people... But not until 5pm.... :(

Maz, my GP practice wrote to me today about the vaccine. My brother says once each practice has done all their phase 1 vaccinations, they are allowed to roll out phase 2 (pregnant women).

Not got any work for today, so I just pulled on a pair of jogging bottoms and an old t-shirt this morning as I've been cleaning. Charlotte was in the bedroom and she said "ahh Mam looks very tatty, so Mam not working today" :o:rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....
