Must be quite stressful knowing he's doing that. I know I'd be ripping my hair out. I'm glad Archie never did that, OH would probably of made me get rid (He doesn't like my cats, well he likes the fat 1 NOW but only because Archie is so insane, he likes the mellow one) Thing is, he has a cat as his mums and every time we have watched it, it comes with worms, utter sick! He dribbles when you stroke it, is solid muscles and when it wants a stroke it practically knocks your hand off, and because it's always hunting etc, it's nails are super sharp and it plucks you when you stroke it and no matter what I get a rash from it.

ITS A BIG DISEASE. Nice name though, Jasmine :D

Awwww, you not even got eggs?

    Hi all

    Mrs Moc

How long did it take for that car seat to arrive? Charly hates hers and I never though that a different one might be better. Going to in laws on boxing day in Bristol (3 hour drive) so if I can get a new one before then that might be better. it'll be worth a try (and it'll grow with her as youy say). Have mailed the seller to ask but wondered what your experience was. Thanks.

Going back to sleeping, C had her 2nd jabs on Thursday and then slept from 9 til 5am! Yipee! Had a bit of a blip last night though as just as she was dropping off at 8pm she started screaming and didn't stop til she fell asleep on my shoulder at 9.15. Had a green nappy so think it was a stomch upset - jabs related? Or she also has the snuffles so who knows. Put her in her crib at 10 and she slept til 3, quick feed then slept til 6.30, then in with me til 8.30. Might this be the turning point? Not getting my hopes up!

As for the cup feeding, we decided if she wakes and is ratty, she won't take anything so just gonna chance the gig tomorrow. Have ordered a doidy cup though to try after Xmas.

As for ikea, we have the really cheap white range from there (not sure of the name) and it has been fine - I'l go for it.

This has turned out to be a long post! Thanks for your advice, hugs to all, can't comment on everything I'd like to or I'd be here all day so general hugs is the best I can do - sorry xxx

Does anyone have experience of the MALM range from Ikea...I have picked out the 6 drawer chests for the kids room, they are £85each. Not sure when we an get them yet, but hopefully soon as the kids have NOWHERE to put their clothes!!!

We have a set of the 3 drawers for Henry's room and I like them... OH is not a DIY man and even he managed to put them together no probs and we found them nice and deep so get loads into them.

OH has taken Henry with him to do the food shopping.... ahhh dread to think whats gonna happen... any tips on getting my newborn to sleep in his cot... have tried loads but literally within seconds of you laying him in it he is awake screaming... have ended up being in spare bed with him most nights this week just so Hubby can get some sleep while he's at work !!

I find the best time to do the shopping BTW is 3 days before Christmas eve as its far enough away to not be so busy you cant breathe, but close enough that nothing will go out of date !! We are doing ours on Monday while Jas is at school as it is much quicker to shop without her there !!

I think it'll have to be a late night shop for me too - otherwise i'll have three children with me  and DS doesn't like Asda!

OH is in work until Wednesday and children finished school yesterday.

I'm off too - to take DD to gymnastics, then wander round the shops for two hours.

    See you all later. x

  • Oh, gymnastics !!b forgot about that, must go iron Jas leggings !!

    see you later xx

Em - THIS vid shows how the grp1 seats recline :) (DO NOT use that video to learn how to fit that seat because it's wrong!) that's the seat I had/have.
I personally will only have maxi cosi or britax seats coz they're the ones that always come out best in tests but please make sure you check whatever you look at fits in your car Local Car Seats Help and Advice

i got eggs, might have egg and chips for lunch, i wont starve! theres porridge too but i dont fancy it with skimmed milk, fussy me.
OH likes scruffy now he has calmed down, he likes dogs though! he wont forget scruffy's nippy/scratchy phase though so will always prefer scrappy. its awesome having them both so young though, they just terrorise everything together, i just feed and clean the tray :D then they demand cuddles when they want them, easy easy easy! he is only marking cos they're both male, once the offending items are removed he will be ok.... hopefully

ooh that makes sense now! that graco one that was linked to earlier doesnt look like its got side impact protection so wont be going for that one, will get the britax eclipse after all. its the only one on the britax fitter thingy that has smiley faces on all the seats, the other ones all have special fitting notes, so i think its probably the safest one to go for! you can get a play tray for it too so thats a nice touch for when he's a bit older and doesnt throw things away as soon as he gets them :)
