Parking blokey was hovering near to the P&B spaces, taking down reg numbers. All the P&B spaces were taken, so I parked in a disabled one next to them and asked if it was okay. He saw the pram and winked at me, saying "You're disabled, yes?". My reply was "no, but I would be parked in one of those spaces if they weren't all double parked in them - obviously not with kids cos they wouldn't be able to get a car seat out of that gap". His reply, "no, I'm saying you are disabled, but you forgot your badge.. didn't you?" ;) Yes, yes, so I did! :p

Makes a difference from the parking attendant that shared the same office as me when I worked in a hospital. He couldn't wait to get anyone on the smallest technicality and he used to come in ranting and swearing about some people.

Small things like your experience help the day along nicely :)

MM i am sure whoever you spoke to was just otherwise distracted or simply didn't think to ask. If you'd said he was unwell they probably didn't want to make you go into it knowing you are feeling fed up. I know what you mean though and i always take things to heart, but if you normally get on with them then it's going to be nothing to worry about.

I bet she realised after the phone call too. I would totally do something like that, my friend rang to say someone had died and i was like, oh ok, and carried on talking. Then afterwards i thought hmmm i'm a cow maybe i shoulda asked how she was feeling  :o

Well I didn't get to bed until super late! Keira is slothed on the sofa scoffin croissants and issueing her orders (more juice please) (I'm cold get me my blanket)

I'm sending OH to the shop because I'm parched! HE's off work today as I was supposed to go away but nevermind. He's off to Jimmy Chungs tonight with his workmates, well what am I supposed to eat? HMMPH! I may go to Tescos tonight if my dad picks us up and I'll get myself a new Xmas tree, think they have theres reduced to about £10, and I'll get some new lights and some red baubles to go with all the silver I have, and maybe some red tinsel. Also need to get screw in lightbulbs, why does no where sell them!! My bathroom takes a screw in and it pops all the time, and did so last night, I have an annoying spotlight in the kitchen that the previous tennants put in, and 3 of the 4 has popped so it's dark!

Im not sure when Keira's nursery breaks up, probably the 23rd, and OH works until Xmas eve, and is supposed to go back on the 27th - New years eve, then back to work on the 2nd (if its not a weekend) He doesn't even get bank hols, totally sucky.

Who does he work for? If I'm at work we are shut xmas day, boxing day and new years day so get them off. OH's plant has a shut down over christmas so everyone off for at least 2 weeks

I ordered the spinny toy from Amazon - my baby's dreadfully spoiled but it doesn't count if it's all educational and MSE, right??

A book for Husband fell into my basket too. Ooops.
Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
