As with most artists, singing live is not her forte. They even airbrush videos these days, or is that 'digitally enhance'.
Im a huge live music fan, esp local rock bands and the like. Watching someone sing live on TV is usually awful whereas when you are there its not so much about the music as the 'experience'. So in that respect she was worth seeing but, without the atmosphere she would have been poor.
My BIL has a recording studio with all the gadgets and its amazing what you can do with poor singing voices!
Was watching MTV the other day and that David Getta and Kelly Rowland were on signing live at some award thing or other and OMG at Kelly Rowland!! My ears were bleeding!!!0 -
i would guess so ss but not sure x
Still searching .....:)

Hey everyone, can I ask some canny shopping help please?
I'm looking for a Jumperoo or something equivalent and I would like to spend as little as possible. Is ebay my best bet or is there some amazing deal somewhere?
Edit: or is one of these a good idea since she already has a door bouncer?
I like the look of that Ladybird! She'll prob get all bounced out if you have door bouncer and jumperoo.
Are you for or against baby walkers?0 -

See, i'm the opposite. Whilst I agree the experience makes it better, and if it's someone you really like then that's what counts, if it's someone that you really don't care about, you may as well be listening to anyone. Live music for me generally sucks. If I buy a CD, I want the person to sing live sounding just like the CD, after all, it's the CD sound I have purchased. If they can't do that, then they should sell singles as live recordings, rather than the manufactured edited sounds they sell.
I once recorded in a recording studio, but sadly it made me sound worse :rotfl: although to be fair I wasn't making much effort, but yes, they can do anything for anyone. Most artists today cannot sing, but those magic knobs and buttons transform the least talented into chart toppers.
Those award shows are awful. Jay-Z can't even rap/hip-hip in tune and at a recent awards show he had this woman in place of Alicia Keys, who hurt my ears badly. Sugababes are another group who can't sing a note, Tinchy Stryder can't rap in tune. Madonna is probably as bad as anyone at live performances, although Kanye West's performance of Love Lockdown at Europe Music Awards 2008? was probably the worst performance in history :rotfl:
I haven't heard Kelly Rowland live and I may leave it that way0 -
She's getting a Vtech walker for Christmas, csh - I'm leaning towards the spinning baby toy now I've seen it.
Now to see if it's cheaper elsewhere :mse:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
Three gifts left to buy0 -
The best live act I have even seen is Take That. Not the recent stadium tour which was good, but the Beautiful World tour before that. I was 5 rows from the front and watching Gary Barlow sit at the piano and sign a live solo was an amazing experience! I've yet to ever see someone else sing exactly the same as they sound recorded. And he wasn't miming!!!
Other than that I've had some fantastic nights out pogoing about to someone singing 'Ace of Spades' well out of tune, happy times!!0 -

morning
I did catch up to page 608 then I heard a big wet trump and my leg went wet _pale_
Was Jack though not me! :rotfl:
What an episode that was
Not got time to catch up teh rest but will try later can see Em needs some hugs though after a rather poo day.
Jack was up just before 6.30am this morning so he obviously didn't listen to my 7am pleas! However, he went back to sleep at 8.30am so instead of having a 9.30am bottle it was 10.30am. Am hoping this puts him on track now to have a later bottle this evening!
Off out now to work for Christmas Lunch, Jack is all set to go in his Santa Suit. Gonna take a pic when I get back so will upload then and probably change my avvy
Catch up later! xxA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

SS - rmac had that spin explore thing, from what I remember it didn't last very long as LO was soon rolling/crawling off discovering the world (although it is much cheaper than a jumperoo)
