Payrises were frozen last year - back again but rather small this year, but for some reason bonuses are quite good  go figure. Helps me meet my tax obligations...

They used to give turkeys out at our work (decades ago) but now we get vouchers. Two companies merged together, ours got £20 and the other got £30, so this year we've all got £25... nice for us, but they're moaning! :p

Ha! Alls fair in love and vouchers :rotfl:

Morning ladies, not gonna catch up now but I will later, off to test drive a bigger car but I'm just not sure. Bens other eardrum burst last night so although he seems ok this morning I've kept him home. X

Edit, looks like it's just you and me Weezl, how are you? Ooo, and MM, hello. XXX

Sorry Tara I just popped out to my baby group, held at Ikea this week cos our normal termtime venue has stopped :(

Weezl, how was your busride? And if I can be impertinent and ask, how will Kester affect your budget? Will there be a new challenge?

afraid I wimped on the busride:o will report as soon as I've got my act together. :)
I'm allowing 115 for all 4 of us from march for food, health and toiletries. I think I have all the nappies sorted for both boys between now and next December:o:D

csh! your fairies came! I am so thrilled and thankful :)

For anyone curious they have brought me an amazing book of christmas craft projects. Which are stunning and inspiring :)

This was great timing since the previous few minutes had seen me get drenched in projectile baby diahorea. As you know fergus needs a hand excavating his poos. The beginning bits are so impacted. He then let rip with a huge arc of liquid gold, which travelled across the kitchen, all down my leg and also splatted the front of the kitchen cupboards!!!!

Our payrise was 0% this year which was gratefully accepted as the alternative was a -3% one! :p

elle prob knows the law on this better than I do, but my understanding is that it's illegal not to give a woman on ML all the usual benefits of her job :) Company gym membership, free eye tests, training budget...

Indeedy do.. was just going to say that :) (ETA: I wonder if requesting my share of the usual choccie bikkies from the financial advisers is too much to ask? ;):p)

Which reminds me, where's my eye test receipt? Xmas party next Tuesday (buffet lunch and secret santa between HR, IT and the directors secretaries) so must sort it then.. :)
