    My neighbour has died :(

Have known him since I moved here in 1996. He's been fighting cancer for a while and has been in and out of hospital and a hospice for a few months, but he's finally gone now. Pleased he's at peace and pain free now, but it's still been a shock and I'm crying :( Got to find the strength to tell the boys when they come in from school.
Here I go again on my own....

Sorry to just barge back in, but I have a question :o

Homestart volunteer arrives tomorrow, for our first two hour session. No one has really mentioned what she can/should do. Any ideas/suggestions?

    I'm so sorry Becles :grouphug:

Husband's home again - was home ten minutes and settled down to the internet
Is now in a passive-aggressive snit fit because I suggested he might have more important things to do, has gone off to buy something for dinner muttering just audibly to himself as he left the apartment.
Still, it's good to have him home :)

Feelie has been back on today too - she's worried about her appointment this afternoon. I hope it went well and she comes back to tell us.

    .

In case anyone else was going to try, Tesco will not exchange branded nappies without a receipt (although they said they will exchange Tesco own brand ones). Will try Asda tomorrow if we get the chance.

Off to put the tree up now. We have some friends of OH coming round for a takeaway tonight. First takeaway since we had bubs so I'm muchly looking forward to it! Hopefully the company won't stay too late as I do like to get to bed reasonably early these days:o.

Asda swapped mine (From Boots glitch) with no questions asked! :D

I've got free takeaway tonight :D. One of the local Indians does a customer of the month prize - and I won for November :o.
Has to be used by tomorrow, and as OH is out working tomorrow night - we'll just have to use it tonight.

definately not going out :(:(:( x

What happened? Did I miss something?

I bloody hate it when you arrange something and look forward to it and people let you down!

Hows the driving coming along? Are you confident now?

We've been out the V's nursery christmas party where she got to meet Santa. She wasn't impressed with him, but also didn't cry. :p

Might change my avvy to her latest christmas picture to confuse you all.

Hugs Tia, Becles and everyone else who needs them.

AM I keep forgetting. Did you find an R4 card? And my fairies have got a little pile of old DS games, the cartridge ones. DD now has a DSi and they don't have a cartridge hole. There's some girlie ones, but mostly unisex and suitable for little ones.
PM the faries if Aston would like them.

SM, we are going out Friday night for dinner. Steak night at the shop and B&SIL are taking all 3 children!!! Its a friend of my friend who works at the shop's birthday so she asked us along (its a private function for them all). They are headed to the pub after, I don't do pubs so DH and I are heading home for a DVD and loud kniky s-e-x :D

Sorry your upset Becles, he sounds like he was a lovely man. xx
