Well, my fresh start hasnt done too good. I've had a bit of a setback (row with the useless ex) and did my best not to comfort eat but it doesnt always work out that way. Same again today. I've lost the plot a bit again tonight but tomorrow is a fresh start.

Well done all the losers and sts.. and of course contrats to Raph. I hope you have a long and happy marriage.

I've found it pretty common to lose several pounds in the first week or so. You can definitely continue losing weight this week, especially if you track your calorie intake and the calories you use during activity.

This is a great forum. I'm new to it so can someone help me out with the acronyms like STS and MTC?

I have to admit to having an interest in the website as I am the developer. I developed it because I found it impossible to control my weight. It has worked well for me and my friends and I'd really appreciate getting feedback from other people. I'm still developing it so your feedback can really make a difference. If it doesn't work for you I'd love to know why.

You know i'm pretty sure this is why my weight yoyos between a couple of pounds. I have laminate all over the house. I try to keep the scales in the same place every day, but i'm sure the little one moves them just to annoy me:rotfl:

It's the only thing I'm really stric about the same set of scales in the same spot in the bathroom on the same day (and give or take a lie in) at the same time of day. Bit dubious about its readings at the moment as I've just changed the bathroom floor covering but I don't think it's too blame totally for my recent gains :rotfl:

went to b&q yesterday and spent a terrifying amount of money. But used the voucher from the weekly newsletter so saved lots too! My worktops don't arrive till 17/12/09. Now thats cutting it fine . . .

Off to the theatre tonight for ohs birthday. We're going to see victorian ghost stories in a converted church. I may not sleep much tonight . .. . .
