    Victory, I'm doing OK.

I took myself off down to the Dr. yesterday as I was starting to feel worse and worse, and I've got a bad infection, so not just a bit of cystitis, hence the reason why I was getting more pain in my torso. I have a week's course of anitbiotics, and am on paracetamol to keep my temperature down. I should be feeling much better in a day or so.

OH seems to be trying to work out a plan of action, but I'm a bit worried he's having more of a knee-jerk reaction. He wants to sell everything of any value! For now he's after selling his motorbike, but I think he's also planning to use the proceeds of it to try to generate some money, investing in a couple of project bikes to restore and sell on, etc. We shall see.

I am going to be kind to myself today, so I am off to see a dear friend, who will make me laugh, and talk a lot of sense.

For you longer term members - today was supposed to be raphael's wedding day. Have a quick scan of her posts and she hasn't been on MSE since Sept so I have no idea how things are.
But raph - if all has gone according to plan, here's wishig you a very long and happy marriage, and a memorable day to start you off:T:T

Did a bit better food wise yesterday -swopped rice for roasted butternut squash yesterday. Was slightly scubbered by OH producing biscuits in the evening but managed to limit myself to 4.
Really trying to focus on this again today.

Good stuff Sary re your approach to the news. Sorry to hear you are not at all well(and cyctiis is sooo horrid and makes you feel sooo bad), but t least you know now not to soldier on too much and hopefully the antibio's and time with your friend will be good.

Victory - are you feelng any better?
Mazza - I have visions of you doing your usual rounds in heels:)

Unfortunately beanie, I have yet to find a way to make my fortune from it:D
I do have a good memory for dates - on various courses I have done, I usually become the default group memory for assignment & term dates etc. I am also very good at remembering 'on this day 5 years a go I/we were doing such and such'.
However, for some bizarre reason I can never remember the correct date for 2 relatives birthdays (but can always remeber the birthdays of kids I sat next to at school when I was 7 and haven't seen in 30 yrs:confused:) and my spelling can be totally random on the same words time and again.

    Congratulations to Raph \o/

BB - I would probably do better in my heels than these stupid work boots! No matter what style I try they always feel so heavy and clumpy. They are now offering us caterpillar trainers instead of boots, but they are a horrible brown colour. Don't know whether I should try them next time or stick to the boots.
