You are never going to believe this peeps:D my supervisor called me in and asked me directly whose side I am taking when the area manager comes to sort out the row the supervisor and boss had 2 saturdays ago, can't believe how unprofessional and what a predicament to put me in, will I take her side and back her or will I say that the boss was to blame?:D0

difficult position to be with some potential nasty flack coming back to you from which ever person you don't support
2 ways to go i guess, 1) Tell the truth from your perspective, 2) Take the safe middle ground ie "i was dealing with a customer / minding my own business / watching the clock waiting for home time, when i noticed X and Y having a heated discussion, i carried on (previous selection) and noticed they went into another room. and to everything else "i know nothing, im from Barcelona"0 -

TwiceasNice wrote: »Hello all,
I am starting to lose weight again (i tried last year but nevre really gave it my all unforntunately) and would love to start again.
I actually started last monday (1st March) and i am currently finishing my first week. I currently weight 16st and 3lb and i would ideally like to get down to about 11 stone.
I am obese - there i said/typed it! this feels like some aa confession and i kind of feel like it is as i have been in denial for years as the weight amy dress size has increased!
I want to lose weight for many reason and will turn 30 this year and want to look back at picture of my birthday thinking "i don't look too bad!"
Just fed up of pretending that i don't mind - when i really do.
Am looking forward to joining you on thsi journey.
Hugs

welcome to our merry band of nutters
If you think you had trouble admitting your obese, try super super morbidly obese ...I dream of being obese :rotfl:
I have been putting off for 3 months sorting out the office (second table needs removing and tonnes of crap sorting) and now the new display cabinets have arrived, so i have half done it this morning but now kinda stopped0 -
Hi TwiceasNice, and welcome aboard- Yep I've been there too, admitting the O word is always hard.
But stick with it, stick with us. No matter what plan you're following or if you're going alone, you will get plenty of tips here. Along with some laughs and great advice.
Eric - Yes, totally know where you're coming from, although I was never quite that bad, falling into the obese band was like a big hooray for me :rotfl:
Victory - What a great place to work. This shower of numpties make my boss and supervisor look like saints. I'm afraid I would be sitting on the fence on this one. Look after #1.
Am quite proud of myself, my little drink or two last night didn't lead to me overeating at all.
Started day 5 of the Champix today, and am down to around 10 cigs a day already. Am supposed to smoke as normal on them for the first 8-12 days, but they are putting me off cigs and coffee already. So supposed 10 cigs is still better than 40, and none will be better than 10. Last day as a smoker is Tuesday, unless the pills put me off them completely before then.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
Well done on both counts Mazza.
Victory I'm another one that votes for fence sitting on the work issue.
Dragged my behind round a timed mile and a half run - not as bad as I feared but slower than I should be.0 -
mazza - fatastic achievement cutting down on the ciggies:T:T.
Eric - every lb off now and we know you are never going to weigh that much again.
:hello:Twice as nice - welcome to our lovely forum. Well done for 'saying it. Please join in lots - it is the best way to stay motivated and feel part of the group.
Victory - unfortunately I do believe you. Really poor behaviour.
I'm busy doing loads of house work and going for the final clutter clear of the 'dining room' before OH gets home. He can't stand change so it's better, though hard work, to just do it when he is out. Honestly, he'd happily live in 4 square feet surrounded by 6ft high piles of boxes.
Eating today is random (not necssarily unhealthy) and I'm enjoying not having to cook for anyone else.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Twice as Nice - welcome to the asylum :hello: where the lunatics are most definitely in charge!!! Good luck on your journey; as you'll see we dont strictly keep to topic so join in whenever and wherever, we're not proud!!
Victory - what a dreadful position to put you in; agree 100% with everyone else, stay out of it and tell your supervisor that you dont appreciate being put on the spot like that.
Mirry - well I made a batch of your apple & oat cookies yesterday, they are a very tasy snack but I must have done something wrong cos they came out very "spongy"? Kudos to you for being so organised food-wise. I'm going for the cauliflower mash again tonight (3rd time this week!)!!
Well today I've been to my aqua-aerobics class, tidied up the garden a bit (raking dead leaves & grass off the lawn that we just had re-turfed last year and is now looking half dead. I've put some seed down but the ground is still very hard so I'm only half expecting it to take:(, still it was nice being out in the sunshine), finished off the ironing, listed some clothes on Ebay, and now Im going to crack on with my OU essay which is due this week. I'll sleep when I'm dead£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Thanks:D supervisor is convinced that because they have a clash of personalities head office will not tolerate it and therefore move one of them on and she is 100% sure it will be the boss the pharmacist not her the supervisor:D if not she says a tribunal is where she is heading and she needs all the support to get shot of him, I just want to do the job get paid and come home oh and have to do the 10 modules in 6 months, google has been ace finding out the answers for the health care assistant module, seen as they don't help me, getting through quite a lot of it on my own, should not be that way:D
I had a garibaldi biscuit today, quite surprised they only have 3.2g of sugar per biscuit and 0.9g of fat, would have put them back diabetic wise otherwise but used to love them as a kid, saw them bought them, fortunately gave most of them away to my vultures mean kids:rotfl: just as lovely as I remember them and OH told the little one that the raisins inside were not raisins but squashed ants and for a second he believed it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Victory, I find it quite atrocious that your DH is telling such mean porkies to your LO. Every knows they are dead flies....I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
