Hezza , lol at the spongy oat biscuits , I think its all a bit of guess work.
I put a lot of oats into my mixture and took them out the oven when turned almost brown (well cooked). Today I made some the same and added some cherry st dalfour jam in it , oh my - they were delish.
I also made a wholemeal loaf in the bread maker without sugar and it turned out lovely. I am thinking surely I wont loose weight like this.
Hi to everyone else.Kindness costs nothing0 -
Well I've caved, after only ever loosing weight by counting calories and exercise I have decided to follow A Diet. Specifically I've been inspired by the success of everyone on here to try the Harcombe diet. So a week on Tuesday my mum, fiance and I are starting (very specific I know, but the books need to arrive, and my fiance's annual appraisal is Monday and he soooo does not need to be in a sugar withdrawl!), and I'll be honest, I'm scared, I don't know exactly what I'm going to have to give up! Still, hoping a short sharp go of it for a month or 6 weeks will get me somewhere near my goal weight, and then I can finally start enjoying food again without all the guilt.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Dinah - well done you for giving it a go. The only thing you need to give up for good on Harcombe (once you've got past Phase 1) is nasty processed sugar-salt-and-god-knows-what-else laden processed food. Everything else is "allowed" per se, you just need to eat in the right combinations. Oh and cut out anything that provokes your food intolerances and causes your cravings, all of which you get to learn about 'cos its specific to each person.
Good luck to all of you! There are a few people on here now who are following it so plenty of support and advice if you need it!!
Vanya - we all have days like that! The trick is to not let it become a habit; so you've had a bad day? start again tomorrow!!
My OU essay is flying along this evening, I've spent so much time over the last 2 weeks immersing myself in the material that it's practically writing itself!! Hope that gets reflected in my marks!!!
Have a great week everyone!!£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

I had a lovely walk along the beach this afternoon it was beautiful in the sun (shame about the icy wind) but now sat here it feels like my cheeks are burning
(face ones) which is shocking as I have factor 15 in my face cream!
Anyway I felt much better after some good exercise and fresh air so looking forward to another good week.
Going out for a meal tomorrow night but I am a little worried about going over my calorie allowance. Had to pre order starter and main course so I decided on melon and sirloin steak as everything else seemed to be coming in rich creamy or heavy fat sauces. Then if I have a coffee for dessert I hope I should be ok ........
Sounds like you are doing well Hezza, good luck with the essayRestarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed

Yet another vote for sit on the fence Victory. Not the way I would react usually but I don't think, from what you've told us before, that any of these people deserve your support.
Now you've learnt de-cluttering BB could you make a career of it? I just happen to know a whole house that needs it.:o:o
