Off to see Reginald D Hunter tonight - cant wait! - but I've just realised that what with work, ferrying babysitters around and the late night I wont have time to eat. Good job I used up all the peanut butter.....£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

mirry - it's more for the neuralgia side of things, I try to stick with over the counter when I get these headaches, but this one just wouldn't shift and turned into a full blown neuralgia attack. Carbamazapine for that. Dad had to take propanalol and amytriptiline for much the same kind of cluster headaches that I get. But I will plod along until the need gets worse if you see what I mean. Hate relying on pills. I know if I must then I must, but as long as I can clear it (eventually) with my combination, I'll stay off the heavy stuff as long as possible :rotfl:Am only on these for a month to ease the pain in my face, finally on day 5 the headache has cleared. :j:j:jSo a month on these and i'll be tickedyboo! Thankfully it's the only attack I've had in 3 yrs so pretty lucky really.
Well done all the losers of the week. I'll be joining u soon!!! I hope =/
STS'ers we'll get there!!
Gainers- Must work harder, myself included, even though it was last week i gained.
Really knackered with all this pill popping, but having another day off work to fully recover.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
Mazza , The neuralgia sounds nasty and painfull thankgoodness you dont get it too often, if you can stay off the preventatives then thats probally a good thing.
I have a constant balance disorder caused by my severe migraines , it damaged my inner ears , Ive been CT scanned , MRI scanned and had all the ENG tests, and found out I do have a brain :rotfl:.
These pills are the only thing keeping me up , but they make me gain weight.
Hezza , I keep looking at a jar of Nutella in the kitchen ,
but only looking.

I am tragically excited to be sitting here using my new lap top 'workstation' (basically a very well padded tray with a little flexi lamp attached). It is so much more comfortable than the old one which hurt my knees as most of the beads had worn away. It's the small things in life...
mirry & mazza - sympathy re the drugs making you knackered, althought the uti will make you feel lousy anyway. I have to take umpteen drgs every day and they all too frequently wipe me out, so i eat to find some energy from somewhere, and one type make me extra hungry anyway.
I used to be on eplim for migraines as well and they do make you pile on the weight: nearly 2 stone. Thankfully I was able to come off them and the weight slowly came off again.
Victory - gentle hugs as ever, fellow sufferer.xx
pepop - it's beanielou who was asking about the andrex.
kpc - well done on keeping up the walking.I was toying with the idea of getting an ipod to encourage me to walk a bit more regulalrly. I suspect it wouldn't though.
hezza - glad you were reward with a harcombe loss to after the sucess of your masterclass pupil!
Well done heatherberry and eric:T. I know I must have missed others out.
I am another sts this week please fred -at least it isn't going on. I just find it hard to get into a pattern and i am thrown off course by fatigue and medication. Hopefully, with better weather I will get out and about more often.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
thanks peeps:D I can't believe how long this day is, it will end one day:rotfl:
CQ gutted yes but it is only 1lb, you know why so never buy them again;)

mazza I use bicarb of soda, in a bit of water, stir and swallow, tastes awful but it gets rid of the urine infection, take as often as needed
pep learn to say 'no thank you, this salad has made me so full I couldn't possible have chips as well':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
ll a loss is a loss:D
hezza, mirry, no nutella or peanut butter for either of you, I forbid it:rotfl::rotfl:
bb;) thanks as always.
It makes you wonder what children I have created, they came in from school, took one look at me lying on the settee and both went upstairs, no, is there anything I can get you? How are you? Nothing, amazing selfishness, then they both argue like crazy upstairs because they think their mother is asleep oh no they are mistaken:rotfl:0 -
Victory, Ewwwwwww. I've heard of bicarb for many things but not that :rotfl:Get cystitis quite often and usually manage to flush it out with plenty of water and/or cranberry juice. But sometimes it needs a "wee" course of antibiotics, along with that.
Pretty sure you little ones will be aware that you are awake pretty soon, I can see you giving them earache right now :rotfl:4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
2lb off for me please :j
A tiny bit peeved as a sneaky weigh on Sunday showed 3lb loss. Oh well more to aim for next week.
Still enjoying my Tesco diet (but the forums aren't as good as this one). Even finally being organised enough to make next days lunch meal as my tea is cooking which means I don't just have boring sandwiches anymore. Carrot and lentil soup today, yum.
Big hugs to all those of you suffering from ailments and aches n pains at the mo x xLooking for the sunshine after the rain
Dealing with debt £1800 paid / £1800 cc :j
Now aiming to be mortgage free...figures to follow0 -
I never used to eat or particulary like lentils but in soups they are lovely and filling and am a convert:D had lentil soup today but slowly now the tummy is rumbling:D
mazza the docs told me about the bicarb at the hospital because I being diabetic can't drink cranberry juice and it works every time and it is cheaper when cystitis instead of paying over £4 for the sachets I just use bicarb.
I still remember the last time I had a very bad urine infection I went to the emergency wailing like a wounded animal and went to take a number the poor man infront of me look petrified at me and gave me his and others insisted I went in first:rotfl:so anytime you need to be seen quickly just start howling animal like:rotfl:0 -
