Here's my blog peppop. As I say its very new!

I've been watching the 'What made me fat' show and it is interesting, but I do think she is a bit of a crusade. I didn't realise how much sugar was in some foods, but at the same time its all about balance, and I do agree with the view point that its all about balance. Yes I eat chocolate, but I eat a lot more fruit and veg, my dinner plate is about half veg, and a quarter meat and a quarter carbs, and its not a huge plate. And I'm a 10-12. I know not all people will be nutritionally aware (Lorraine Kelly's Big Fat Diet Challenge showed me that) but the majority know that eating 4 burgers and a 12 pack of crisps in a day is worse for you than a balanced meal, and I think shirking the complete responsibility onto someone, anyone else is the reason 1 in 3 UK adults are obese, there is always that excuse of 'well I was allowed to buy it'.

ahh thats the fifty thousand dollar question, is it all on to us or is there more going on, do some of these giant cooperation's know that high fat high sugar diets are addictive, and do they work cloak and dagger behind the scenes to disguise the putrid unhealthy crap they make, bend goverments policys with huge cash donations and use clever advertising to give the impression of healthy eating?

I think its a bit of both, we need to take responsibility for what we eat, but if you don't know what there up to its going to be very easy to fall into there trap. There are many many "healthy" foods with clever packaging aimed at the healthy eater, and many are utter crap. Slim****s come to mind 28% fat and 25% sugar .. then there's a famous dieting clubs ready meals and snacks, some aweful stuff going into them...

Easy to trick those who are trusting, uninterested or uneducated in nutrition

Is it a specialist sugar free natural product section or are they on the site and you have to find them?

    Well done MIRRY.
im at a stalemate at the moment as ive been feeling low and struggling to not over eat etc.
i kinda agree Eric Pisch. Plus it what makes some food taste nicer, pumping it full of sugar, salt plus hydrogenated fat and palm oil when you and your body doesnt need it.
plus to often make it cheap. sometimes it can be ignorance amongst other things that eat badly, no excuse really i know but if your not brought up to eat properly then you can fall into the trap of eating poorly.
fortunalty hear were out of it or trying our best to get and be out of it and wisen up to it. Unfortunatly i was kept in the dark until i wisened up by parent(s) who obvisouly didnt know any better and learnt.
