with those types of scales you have to follow the instructions, which is normally wait 2 hours after eating, working out and soaking in a bath, first thing in the morning is fine.0

mirry - This one was caused by the stress of the weekend.
peppop - Not yet, have heard a rumour today that he's killed himself. Which in all honesty wouldn't surprise me, he's been telling so many lies that he doesn't know when he's doing it any more. Or it could be another rumour he's started himself to escape the backlash of what he's done this weekend. I am certainly not going out my way to prove or disprove these rumours. Gosh that sounds harsh, but he really is a compulsive liar, even gets his family to lie for him.
Just had a lovely nap. And so far so good, the headache is starting to shift, so fingers crossed that's the end of it:)
Will go have a nice cuppa now to wake up4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
Surprise Surprise, he isn't dead, was just another attention seeking ploy, pictures have been removed, and he's no longer my friend. So back on plan for tomorrow.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

Mazza Glad you got it sorted.
Pep This weekend it was knitting as I'm trying to finish a stole for my gran, but I also cross stitch and patchwork; I can operate a sewing machine but never actually made anything yet - hmm maybe I should try some skirts for the summer we won't have.
Went circuit training this lunch time, hard work but felt great afterwards. Was going to fit in a run this evening but managed to bash my shin during circuits and it hurt to walk on it - better now though.0 -
I feel so pressured today at work that I have taken to eating this and that not through comfort but just because I can, the boss had the health care assistant file with him for 3 weeks before he gave it to me and then he did on saturday with a word of warning that it has to be completed within 4 weeks, 2 of those weeks I am off and it is heavily on the job based and on a normal week I am only there for 8 hours so in 16 hours I have to complete a whole module (looking at instructions on the meds, their contents, what they do etc, reading and answering the on the job files for safety, meds, work orders) so today took it in, the supervisor did not like that and said that yes I have to do it on the job, yes she appreciated I have no time realistically to do it, yes she knows there is no way round it but she said it has to be limited and that I was no use to her might as well stayed at home for the work on the shop floor I did, when I pointed out to her I served all the customers, did all the running around with the prescriptions etc she agreed but said that I did no work on the shop floor and should have stayed at home.
So, I ran around doing all the work I was supposed to do and hurriedly asking questions to the pharmacist who answered and the health and safety officer who answered then writing it down then serving, it was madness, how can I get it done otherwise?0 -
Evening everyone ....... Feeling a little dishartened tonight as my wii is telling me I have lost no weight in 6 days and to be honest I just feel like crying! I know I am being silly but I have been on a massive high since I have started loosing weight that I think I have come down with a huge bang

Mazza - sorry about your poor weekend. I have to say I hate it when people put photo's of me on their pages and tag me in them. especially work parties etc...... Hope your head is feeling better

Very quick hello everyone. Been busy organising all sorts here, and doing lots of reading, which is terribly time consuming.
I spent the afternoon cooking, and am rather pleased with myself for creating a very enjoyable meal from left overs (even some from Christmas)!
Being surrounded by cooking all afternoon meant I wasn't even really hungry for dinner in the end. You'd think i'd be eating all the time, but I wasn't at all. Rather pleased with that. I've had a sneaky peek at the scales (I Know I shouldn't) and they're showing that I'm sticking on track. I needed to know if what I'm doing now is actually working OK for me, as my exercise is still low. It's a good motivator either way, as if it wasn't going too well, I'd be putting an extra effort in for a couple of days before Wednesday. The small loss I've had has given me the kick up the backside I needed, and I just keep looking at the jeans I was in last summer and feeling determined to be in them again very soon.
right off to bed, OH had a bad night's sleep and is shattered. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -

Hexan - In the industry, hexanes are used in the formulation of glues for shoes, leather products, and roofing. They are also used to extract cooking oils from seeds, for cleansing and degreasing all sorts of items, and in textile manufacturing.
It's not really surprising so many people are overwight now - when I found out I was disgusted considering how much fuss is made over it being the "healthy" option - needless to say olive oil only in this household.
QT just remember that you're losing weight for you - not your family, they don't need to live in your body and feel what you feel. If they want to be overweight then that is their choice but don't let it discourage you from chosing a healthy lifestyle.
mazza I don't think you're being harsh at all. There is nothing worse than a compulsive liar especially when they involve you in their dilusions. I think cutting all ties was definately the best idea. It's rubbish having to lose a mate but then again what else can you that won't encourage his attention seeking. Glad you got your pics removed.
Vixstar Hello fellow crafterbut I need to ask - How do you find time to craft and excercise - HELP??

There was a program on BBC 1 late last night that in a light hearted way looked at how the sugar bureau pushes sugar on people, they even have a lose weight diet that involves eating the refined crap.... Lol they make use of most peoples misunderstanding of carbs to call sugar a carb (its a simple carb, complex carbs and natural sugars are fine thou), and theres nothing wrong with over eating protein especially if your exercising and its lean.
http://www.sugar-bureau.co.uk/eating_for_health.html :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:and the government lets them get away with this because they give them lots of wonga
nice its on iplayer
