  • I have been out shopping today and got a pair of walking boots that hopefully will not shred my heels to pieces while I walk. (suffered on last walks terribly with this) And also treated myself to some proper socks to stop this happening. so I hope this wet weather stops soon so I can get out and give them a good test. I must admit that I did put them on in the car and then proceed to wear them around Asda while doing some shopping !! (well they need wearing in don't they??)

Do I remember somebody on here working in lingerie?? As I am needed some advice re bra fittings...... struggling at moment with getting a good fitting sports bra. Help please

thanks for that Hezza , I was discussing it with my hubby today and think I might try and carry on with phase 1 for a while longer , I can see Ive lost weight already. Do you think you loose it quicker on phase 1 ?

None of my business whatsoever and please ignore if you so choose but I honestly think phase 1 is just a quick get into the black dress for the party next weekend kind of thing, it is an emergency way the celebs do, it is not long term, not realistic way to eat, it will all come back with a vengence and more if you don't learn to eat a healthy balanced everything included way of life, sure it works, it is proven, I have done it, many times loose 5lb in 5 days, detox this, detox that, only drink water, only have raw foods, just eat veg, all the fads are great, they work, they do but not for life just for when you are on them, they don't provide all the nutrients, vitamins, minerals you need to sustain a healthy energetic happy life without boredom, restrictions, montony and having to give in and go crazy for food because it is so hard to stick to.

I tried to buy the perle de lait yogs advertised so heavily on the tele these days, wanted the lemon one and it has per pot 12.5g of sugars:eek: got the plain ones, tastes bland and slightly sour, not buying them again,my son just said 'that's disgusting':rotfl::rotfl:

Oh Beanie and BB -- I'm still having the retirement party, cos I'm still retiring from my current job - and drawing my pension! In fact I'm having four. One for the 'officials', one for the parents, one for the children and one real knees up for the staff. And I'm perectly happy to make that 5 with a virtual one here-- crisps and chocolate fondue sound like a good healthy mixture. All are invited!

I am not allowed red wine
I suffer with migraine associated vertigo and thats one of my triggers :(.

Is it the red grapes that provide the protection ?

any dark red skinned fruits, so blackberry's and blueberry's are good as well just not as good as the red grapes they use in wine, you could also just eat the grapes

Eric - eveything you say makes absolute sense - you've obviously made quite a study of this over the years; once you take a closer look at all those WW etc ready meals and see how loaded they are with god-knows-what processed and refined rubbish, you wonder how they ever got past the Food Standards Agency. I too found that once I'd cut them all out of my diet all my cravings just went. I read somewhere that if white sugar was invented today it would never be approved - it has precisely zero nutritional value whatsoever.

Watching how they make refined sugar from cane or beat would put most people off it, it did me, its a mix of alchemy and chemical mutilation ;)

People need to distinguish the man made crap and the stuff that occurs in fruits (like fructose) etc as well

as to the ready meals, yep i dont know how some of them are classified still as fit for human consumption, some of the healthier ones from waitrose and marks are getting a lot better thou with a lot less crap in.
