The last one I saw where they were at home and get visited by Gillian and Bob I was blubbering so hard I could hardly hear what they were saying:rotfl:it so struck a chord with the balance when Helen and Tara could not let go and have a glass of wine or some fun out with their friends always down the gym always restricting and no balance, that is such a huge problem for a lot of people:D

In this respect I am lucky, my best friend is my wife and we are doing this together. Wifey has lost 46 lbs so far and I am playing catch up. She is dedicated to the gym and even has personal training sessions. This works for her and I am happy and usually get dragged along - like this morning.

Doing it with someone close does often work and we prepare meals around the diet but is difficult when we work diff shifts and often dont see each other for a large propportion of the day

eg wife on 7 - 3 and me on 3 - 11 - dont get to see each other much on these days!

Just checking in quickly, not much to report, been fully on track with intake (1780/day which has included 4 creme eggs :D) & exercise (hike, run, ski, gym) so far this week.

I never watch any 'weightloss' programmes or those sort of public vote tv shows (am I the only one? :p) but being a bit of a winter sports addict I have to admit the tv is on more than usual at the mo :o;).

    Hope everyone's doing OK.

I don't watch the weightloss programmes either Missy. I tried watching Biggest Loser USA and hated the arguing, and drama. That's not for me, I'm a quiet soul y'see. :)

Well, I am coping surprisingly well with not eating at the moment, which is unusual for a half-term holiday. I did well to ensure all the home baked goodies were used up by the end of last week, so there have been none here all week.

I am still using Victory's rule of never eating in the house alone (unless it's a set meal time, and everyone else is out). It really works for me, I am clearly a very devious eater!

I'm using foodfocus.com to track my meals too, which has helped today when I felt hungry this evening, and realised I'd only had 1000 cals.

Here's what I've had today: (thought Rosie might appreciate this)!
    B - low fat hot x bun + banana (276 cals)
L - 3 small slices of seeded bread + v.thin slices of cheese melted with pepper (358 cals)
D - Moroccan burger, baked potato + green salad (367 cals)
Supper - museli, natural yogurt + strawberries (223 cals)
    total cals = 1224

Not much exercise to be had in the snow right now, but I have done the housework and been as active indoors as possible, going up and down the stairs. Have promised my 2 youngest boys a trip out to toys r us tomorrow (sightseeing trip).
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

Nooooooooo! We'll need to wait for everyone else to catch up so we can talk about it. I watch it with OH and he's kept the last two so we can watch all 3 final episodes tomorrow night. I'm gonna need to hide behind a cushion cos he can tell by my face who's won. :D

likewise, its about the !!!!!ing and backstabbing not about pure weightless

I had the opportunity to do something similiar for C4, told them to stuff it

Crumbs a bit harsh to start the morning with :rotfl:anyway each to their own opinion, I love the shows and can seriously relate to them all , what they have to go through to loose the weight, I was very sadden that season 3 winner went away and put all the weight back on again and now weighs over 360 lb again even with a visit of encouragement from bob, he still went back to what he was, after all that, such a shame:D
